Valued at more than $2 billion, we continue to invest in product innovation, AI capabilities, and team growth.\nProduct Operations Manager\nOverview\nAs a Product Operations Manager at Onebrief, you own whether the deployed product works the way we intend. You connect customers, product, engineering, infrastructure, and go-to-market teams. You build the systems, data pipelines, and automations that help us ship with confidence in high-stakes, mission-critical environments.\nThis is a hands-on, technical role. You will build 0→1 processes and tools, and use AI and automation to run them at scale.\nWhat you will achieve\nSignal & Insight\nBuild customer feedback channels and usage and satisfaction measures (feature-usage telemetry, NPS/CSAT), and turn that data into roadmap input.\n\nBuild dashboards for exec, support, and engineering, with automated self-checks so they stay accurate without manual audits.\n\nReliability\nOwn the bug database, including intake, triage, severity levels, resolution targets, and a regular review cadence. Drive the top customer-impacting issues to resolution.\n\nDefine and ship in-product quality-of-service measures (load delays, timeouts, crashes, failed logins), and work with InfraSec to plan STIG, POA&M, and security fixes into the roadmap.\n\nRelease Governance\nDefine entry and exit criteria, sign-off owners, and rollback triggers for Pilot, Early Access, and General Availability. Own feature flags, rollback procedures, and release notes.\n\nKeep one shared view of what is shipping, to whom, and when, and report it weekly in CR OpSync. Bring InfraSec in early on high-side and ATO impacts, and produce enablement materials for Sales and Customer Relations.\n\nProcess & Tooling\nRun clean operating rhythms across Linear, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Slack, and Notion. Define how customer issues are weighed against new feature work, and who communicates when something breaks or ships.\n\nMeasure how well we execute using resolution time, escape rate, regression rate, and mean time to recovery (MTTR).\n\nPlanning & Launches\nFacilitate quarterly planning, roadmap alignment, and cross-team dependencies.\n\nWork with Product Marketing and GTM leadership to run launches and Early Access and beta programs, and make it clear to everyone at Onebrief what Product is working on, why it matters, and how it's going.\n\nHow you'll operate\nDiscover, build, connect, communicate. Find what already exists and who to involve. Build the process or tool only if needed. Connect it to other teams and tools so it isn't a silo. Then record a walkthrough and share it.\n\nBuild with AI. Design and maintain AI agents and automations for tasks like PRD drafting, release note checks, dashboard checks, and data grooming. Document custom builds in the ProdOps GitHub repo instead of building them ad hoc.\n\nBe the \"PM of PMs.\" Reinforce simple, consistent practices so teams hit milestones and keep quality high.\n\nTurn signals into decisions. Make sure feedback and telemetry become roadmap and backlog changes.\n\nWork across the org. Partner closely with Engineering, Infra, Quality, InfraSec, Customer Relations, and Product Marketing. Be the one place the org can see release, reliability, and feedback status.\n\nAbout You\nYou must have an active SECRET clearance or higher, and be willing to travel domestically or internationally when needed.\nYou mix good judgment with strong follow-through, and you balance user empathy with data. You care about building tools that work in real, time-sensitive situations. You are comfortable setting up structure when things are unclear, and you can hold your ground when a process needs to be enforced.\nCore skills: process design, data analysis, technical program management, AI and automation, user research, cross-functional leadership\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience\n\n3+ years in product operations, product management, technical program management, or release management in B2B/SaaS\n\nActive SECRET clearance or higher\n\nA track record of building 0→1 processes and scaling them\n\nStrong data skills: you can pull, analyze, and present data (SQL or similar, dashboards, product analytics)\n\nHands-on AI experience: you have built or used prompts, agents, and automations to improve real workflows\n\nWorking knowledge of release practices: feature flags, staged rollouts, rollback, and release notes\n\nExperience with bug tracking and triage, including severity levels and resolution targets\n\nExperience with Jira, Confluence, Linear, GitHub, Slack, and Notion, or similar tools\n\nExperience running launches, early access or beta programs, and customer feedback loops\n\nClear written and verbal communication, including recorded walkthroughs and documentation\n\nPreferred\nMilitary, government, or national security experience\n\nFamiliarity with STIGs, POA&Ms, ATO, and secure or air-gapped deployments\n\nExperience with product telemetry, observability, or quality-of-service measures\n\nExperience with MCP, API integrations, or scripting to automate workflows\n\nExperience with tool migrations (for example, moving to Atlassian) while keeping processes intact\n\nExperience working with multiple teams to set one standard process\n\nNotice to Third Party Recruitment Agencies\nPlease note that Onebrief does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies.
