If you thrive on change and innovation, OneDigital is the career choice for you.\nOur Newest Opportunity:\nSummary: \nThe Business Analyst (BA) supports a broad range of D365-focused work for OneDigital’s Employee Benefits and Human Resources Consulting practices, partnering with teams across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and more. Responsibilities may vary based on business priorities, production needs, and larger product initiatives.\nThe BA serves as the primary owner of small to medium-sized enhancements and User Stories, from requirements through delivery, allowing Product Owners and Product Managers to stay focused on larger strategic initiatives. The BA also supports those larger initiatives as needed, gathering and documenting requirements, refining backlog items, coordinating demos and user acceptance testing (UAT), analyzing production issues, and partnering with technical teams on system behavior, integrations, dependencies, and impacts.\nTo be successful, this individual must demonstrate strong business analysis skills, technical aptitude, and a personable, relationship-driven approach, with the ability to move fluidly between business and technical conversations. The BA is also AI-enabled by design, using AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Copilot and Claude in daily delivery, documentation, analysis, and communication.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: \nRole Scope & Balance\nServe as the primary owner of small to medium-sized backlog items, including standalone User Stories, operational enhancements, and production fixes, allowing Product Owners and the Product Manager to stay focused on larger strategic initiatives. \nSupport a flexible mix of D365 business analysis, application support, and product delivery work across multiple business areas. \nAdapt to shifting business priorities, production needs, and the size or complexity of active initiatives. \nParticipate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews. \nEnhancements & Modifications\nOwn the analysis and delivery of small to medium-sized D365 enhancements and User Stories, from requirements through release. \nElicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, translating business needs into clear User Stories and acceptance criteria. \nDevelop current-state and future-state process flows, business rules, and supporting documentation. \nValidate requirements for completeness, clarity, testability, and alignment to business outcomes. \nPerform impacFt analysis on requested changes, confirming that updates to fields, forms, processes, or configuration won't disrupt other business units, reporting, integrations, or downstream processes. \nWrite release notes that clearly describe delivered changes for business users. \nInitiative & Feature Support\nSupport Product Owners and the Product Manager on larger Features and Epics as needed, typically by taking on User Stories within that work. \nContribute requirements analysis, process documentation, stakeholder engagement, and UAT coordination to larger initiatives, while ownership of Features and Epics remains with the Product Owner. \nDemos & UAT\nCoordinate demos with requestors before UAT to confirm the solution meets the business need. \nPlan and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), including test scenarios, tester coordination, issue tracking, and sign-off. \nDocument UAT outcomes and follow through on any issues or changes identified during testing. \nApplication & Integration Support\nInvestigate D365 production issues, including business impact assessment, reproduction, and documentation, before escalating to technical teams. \nDetermine whether an issue is a system defect, a process or training gap, or a new requirement. \nPartner with developers and architects on enhancements and issues involving D365 integrations, clarifying data flows, dependencies, and expected system behavior. \nStakeholder Collaboration & Communication\nCoordinate with the Product Owner before engaging business stakeholders, and keep the Product Owner informed of relevant conversations, decisions, and next steps. \nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders, Product Owners, the Product Manager, and technical teams, serving as a trusted liaison between them. \nTranslate system behavior and technical concepts into clear, business-friendly communication. \nSupport stakeholder follow-up, training, and documentation updates after release. \nAI-Enabled Delivery\nUse Copilot, Claude, or similar LLMs to draft and refine requirements, User Stories, acceptance criteria, meeting notes, and stakeholder communications. \nUse AI-assisted techniques to identify requirement gaps, edge cases, inconsistencies, and test scenarios. \nReview all AI-generated output for accuracy, completeness, and security, and follow data privacy standards, including safeguarding PHI and PII. \nQualifications, Skills and Requirements: \nBusiness Analysis & Technical Skills\nStrong requirements gathering, documentation, and process analysis skills. \nAbility to analyze production issues and enhancement requests with clear attention to business impact. \nExperience supporting D365 or other enterprise business applications (D365 strongly preferred). \nWorking knowledge of how D365 integrates with other systems, including data flows, dependencies, and troubleshooting approaches. \nTechnical aptitude to review D365 configuration (forms, business rules, security roles, Power Automate flows) and validate data using views or Advanced Find. Hands-on development is not required. \nTools & Delivery\nExperience working on Agile delivery teams and managing work in Azure DevOps (ADO). \nHands-on experience using AI tools and LLMs in day-to-day work, with the judgment to validate their output. \nProficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Visio). \nInterpersonal & Working Style\nPersonable and approachable, with a track record of building trusted relationships with both business and technical teams. \nCollaborative mindset, with the ability to navigate differing priorities and perspectives while keeping work moving forward. \nCurious and proactive, with a habit of asking clarifying questions and validating understanding before acting. \nClear written and verbal communication, including translating technical concepts for business audiences. \nStrong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain follow-through across multiple requests. \nEducation, Training and Experience: \nBachelor’s degree preferred but not required. \n3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Systems Analyst role. \nExperience in employee benefits, insurance, financial services, or large-scale IT environments preferred. \nExperience supporting both business applications and system integrations preferred. \nBase Pay Range: $70,000-$80,000\nYour base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
