This hands-on role focuses on printing, auditing, and packaging client W-2 materials, while also assisting with system updates, research tasks, and special projects. The intern will gain exposure to key areas of payroll operations, finance, and client service delivery in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.\nThis internship offers valuable professional development, including opportunities to meet with MP’s CFO and learn the fundamentals of year-end payroll operations within a leading HR and payroll consulting organization.\nWhat You Will Do\nPrint, audit, and assemble year-end W-2 packages for client distribution.\nAssist the Service, Tax, and Finance teams with system updates, account audits, and data verification.\nResearch and document tax notices\nSupport communications and special projects related to year-end deliverables.\nIdentify trends or issues encountered in assigned work and proactively alert leadership.\nAsk thoughtful questions and offer process improvement ideas to support team efficiency.\nManage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail to meet year-end deadlines.\nPerform other related duties as assigned to support the Service team and MP’s values of WOW Service, Optimism, and Team Collaboration.\nWho You Are\nCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program (Business,\nAccounting, Finance, HR or related field preferred)\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAdaptable and eager to learn new systems and processes.\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).\nEnthusiasm for teamwork, collaboration, and contributing to a positive workplace culture\nYour base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location.
