ODS is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA and also has offices/plants in Texas and North Carolina centrally located to serve clients across the country\n\nSummary\n\nThe Lead Software Engineer will serve as a specialist on complex technical and business matters, leading the Software Engineering team in designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining software applications. This role involves highly independent work and may include team leadership responsibilities.\n\nDuties And Responsibilities\n\nLead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of full stack applications using the Agile/Scrum development process.\nCollaborate with client services teams, manufacturing, and other departments, as well as external clients, to define and articulate complex business and technical requirements.\nDesign and define comprehensive solutions for proposed projects, navigating both clear and ambiguous requirements.\nPrioritize work for self and guide team members to meet milestones and delivery deadlines.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\n\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field required.\n7+ years of experience in full stack technology development and maintenance (Python, C#, Java, Vue.js, Angular, React, SQL).\nProven experience delivering large-scale projects from inception to deployment through the full software development lifecycle.\nStrong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to guide and mentor team members.\nDeep expertise in relevant departments, workflows, business processes, and the industry.\n\nKnowledge, Skills And Abilities (ksas)\n\nPerform all work and activities with honesty and integrity.\nTake personal responsibility for productivity, quality, and timeliness of work.\nCommunicate effectively, listening attentively and responding in a professional and timely manner.\nChallenge conventional practices and utilize creativity and information to contribute to innovative solutions and organizational growth.\nSupport and meet company/department goals and core values.\nCollaborate with co-workers to achieve common goals.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nWorking Conditions\n\nMust be able to perform the essential job duties.
