This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple Procurement activities in a fast-paced environment.\nIn the Role:\nExecute day-to-day procurement activities, including the creation and management of purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.\n\nDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality, reliability, and competitiveness in pricing.\n\nCollaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and forecast demand for goods and services.\n\nNegotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible cost savings and value for the company.\n\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing transactions, contracts, and supplier communications.\n\nSupport the implementation of Procurement strategies developed by the Strategic Sourcing team.\n\nResolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance in a timely manner.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\n2-4 years of experience in aprocurementor buyer role, preferably within the financial services or related industry.\n\nStrong understanding of the procurement process, supplier management, and best practices in purchasing.\n\nProven negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.\n\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAnalytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier performance, market trends, and Procurement opportunities.\n\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.\n\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy in managing Procurement documentation and records.\n\nProficiency in Procurement software and tools; experience with platforms like Coupa is preferred.\n\nHigh level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical Procurement practices.\n\nLocation: Irving, TX - Hybrid schedule (Tues-Thurs in office)\nWho we Are\nOneMain Financial (NYSE: OMF) is the leader in offering nonprime customers responsible access to credit and is dedicated to improving the financial well-being of hardworking Americans.
