Step into a culture where inclusivity is the foundation, where your ideas are trusted and supported, your passions are nurtured, and the spirit of collaboration is encouraged.\nWe move fast, think differently, and empower our people to deliver breakthrough solutions.\nWe are looking for\nApplication Engineer\nat one of our locations inChina, Taicang\nYour tasks:\nTake the next step in your career with us in a global innovativeenvironment:\nBe responsible for 3D structural layout, routing planning, fixing point arrangement, clearance verification and interference check of vehicle wiring harnesses, and deliver compliant 3D digital models and 2D engineering drawings.\n\nSupport OEM on-site concurrent engineering, track changes of vehicle architecture and component layout, and complete iteration, optimization and rectification of wiring harness solutions in a timely manner.\n\nVerify and confirm harness data parameters, operating condition specifications and assembly positions, to avoid quality issues such as assembly deviation, incorrect data usage and routing interference, so as to reduce rework and ineffective work.\n\nLiaise with the R&D, process and prototype teams of the OEM, communicate design issues, potential risks and optimization proposals, respond promptly to customer requirements and resolve issues efficiently.\n\nConduct daily work reviews during on-site assignments, accumulate design experience, standardize data archiving, version control and change confirmation processes to ensure project delivery quality and schedule.\n\nFollow project milestones, support prototype manufacturing, vehicle trial assembly, problem rectification and technical consultation on site.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree or above in relevant majors.\n\nMinimum 3 years of working experience in wire harness design with solid professional knowledge of wire harnesses.\n\nFamiliar with product development procedures and the full workflow of Volkswagen VOBES system.\n\nProficient in CATIA for harness routing design and experienced in LDorado 2D drawing software.\n\nStrong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.\n\nBasic oral English communication skills.\n\nAble to align with the customer’s work schedule and deliver tasks on time; overtime may be required per customer progress.\n\nAccept on-site assignment in Shanghai and surrounding areas.\n\nOur offer:\nAttractive salary package\n\nIndividual promotion\n\nCorporate benefits program with many attractive offers\n\nGlobally operating group of companies\n\nFlat hierarchies and short decision-making processes\n\nAre you interested?\nWe are looking forward to receive your application.
