Employee focused.\nJOB SUMMARY\nJob Profile Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced Captain to join our growing flight operation. This position works collaboratively with the Assistant Chief Pilot and Chief Pilot to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of company employees, representatives, and their associates.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nResponsible for being Pilot in Command (PIC) and Second in Command (SIC) for all flights (and all related competencies)\nVerify aircraft is in compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations\nComply with all company policies and procedures\nBefore each flight ensure all preflight inspections are performed. Verify aircraft databases are current. Review weight and balance, fuel on board and aircraft performance\nCoordinate aircraft handling and fueling with Fixed Based Operators (FBO’s)\nPrepare flight plans and evaluate weather conditions at destination as well as in route, to ensure optimum safety. Make competent, well-informed decisions whether or not to proceed as planned, divert, delay or cancel flights\nEnsure the aircraft is always prepared for flight; that it is clean and supplied with all provisions necessary for the safety and comfort of the passengers\nProvide exemplary customer service to all passengers. Coordinate travel needs, such as catering services and ground transportation\nMust reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Tulsa area or surrounding communities.\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree (preferred) \nWork Experience\n Must have logged a minimum of 4,000 flight hours with 1,000 flight hours in multi-engine aircraft required\n Must have logged 500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in turbine-powered aircraft required\n Must meet all currency requirements regarding instrument flight time and night landings required\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nAbility to: demonstrate effective communication with flight department personnel, company employees and their associates \nAbility to: communicate effectively with Air Traffic Control (ATC) \nLicenses and Certifications\n Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate \n CL30 Type Rating (preferred)\n Be able to maintain a First Class FAA medical certificate \n Hold a Passport with the ability to travel to Canada \nStrength Factor Rating - Physical Demands/Requirements\nMedium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
