This role oversees regulatory and environmental compliance, facility and equipment performance, safe-work and lockout/tagout practices, emergency response, maintenance coordination, operational planning, budgeting, and project support. Provides direction to a small team responsible for maintaining facilities, coordinating maintenance activities, and supporting operational needs across office and field locations.\nEnsures work is performed in accordance with established procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Focuses on immediate operational objectives, maintaining facility functionality, supporting service delivery, and identifying opportunities for incremental process and service improvements.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities\nFacility Operations & Maintenance\nOversee daily facility operations, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of buildings and infrastructure.\nEnsure proper functioning of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.\nCoordinate maintenance schedules, vendor services, and work orders to support uninterrupted operations.\nMonitor facility conditions and address issues promptly to maintain a safe and functional work environment.\n Health, Safety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA standards).\nSupport implementation of safety procedures, inspections, and corrective actions within facilities.\nMaintain documentation related to inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance requirements.\nPromote a safe work environment and ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.\nOperations & Process Execution\nLead day-to-day workflow prioritization, scheduling, and execution of facility-related tasks and services.\nEnsure adherence to established maintenance procedures, service standards, and operational guidelines.\nIdentify and recommend minor improvements to facility processes, vendor coordination, and service delivery.\nMonitor work order completion, service quality, and operational performance metrics.\nVendor & Service Coordination\nCoordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance, repair, and facility services.\nEnsure vendor work is completed in accordance with contracts, service agreements, and company standards.\nTrack vendor performance and escalate issues as needed to ensure service quality.\nSupport procurement and coordination of facility-related supplies and services.\nStakeholder Support\nPartner with internal stakeholders to address facility needs, workspace issues, and operational requests.\nCommunicate service updates, maintenance schedules, and facility-related information to employees and leadership.\nProvide responsive support to ensure workplace functionality and employee experience.\nAssist in coordinating moves, space planning, and facility adjustments within defined scope.\nData & Reporting\nEnsure accurate tracking of work orders, maintenance activities, and facility performance metrics.\nMaintain records of inspections, repairs, and compliance activities to support audit readiness.\nPrepare reports on facility operations, service levels, and maintenance trends as needed.\nIdentify trends in facility issues to support improvements within the team’s scope.\n Leadership & Team Supervision\nProvide day-to-day supervision, work direction, and task prioritization for facility staff or contractors.\nMonitor team performance, provide coaching, and support employee development.\nContribute input to hiring, performance management, and staffing decisions.\nFoster a service-oriented, safety-focused, and accountable work environment.\nResponsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline.
