PaperWorks’ products are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and 100% Recycled Paperboard Alliance.\nSummary\nThe Maintenance Technician will maintain production machines and equipment including:mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems. Som electrical experience is also required.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities:\nPerform preventive maintenance as scheduled. \nResponsible for repair of machines and facility maintenance issues.\nKeep accurate and up-to-date records of all work done.\nWork the hours required by the job in keeping all equipment ready for operation at all times, even if a break-down should occur.\nMaintain physical structure of establishment by keeping work area neat, clean, and safe. This includes the outside of building, the property, and snow removal as needed periodically as weather conditions change.\nAct as a capable trainer, able to instruct department personnel in proper use and care of equipment and in all phases of the work with a minimum of personal friction of conflict. \nKeep an inventory of all supplies and materials and sees that replacements are requisitioned in event of a supervisor absence.\nPossess the ability to read understand, and use mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and other working plan prints used in maintenance.\nAccurately use different measuring devices including: tape measures, calipers, micrometers, scales, gauges, and meters.\nAbility to operate all equipment used in maintenance work including: a lathe, drill press, etc. \nMust be able to do gas welding, brazing, soldering and electric welding.\nFamiliar with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and follows the guidelines closely. \nMust be capable of keeping accurate records, including the completion of all required forms; and the accurate use of different measuring devices including tape measures, and all other applicable gauges for your responsibilities.\nHas pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting experience.\n\nFacility-wide use of reliable troubleshooting methods.\n\nUtilizes preventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime.\n\nThree-phase electrical experience up to 480v\n\nProgrammable logic control experience\n\nProficient in machine shop operations to fabricate repair parts.\n\nIdentify areas where safety issues could arise and take measures to proactively address the concerns.\n\nParticipates in continuous improvement efforts involving maintenance and production.\n\nUses problem solving to maximize facility improvement in safety, housekeeping, waste reduction, quality, productivity and cost.\n\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED);
