Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include providing support to warehouse operations from material flow tracking through to site purchasing activities that facilitate having the required inventory and non-inventory items available when needed to meet demand. This position will also work closely with demand planning, sourcing, purchasing, incoming quality and warehouse operations to ensure the timely availability of materials required to support the firm weekly schedule for kitting, formulation, filling, label printing, labeling, and packaging. Turn your passion for precision and your commitment to quality into a meaningful impact on healthcare across the US.\nThis is a full-time role, working 1st shift Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM This is a set, consistent schedule with minimum overtime requirements and based on site in our Sugar Land, TX location. This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to random drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.\nWhat the Inventory Control Technician Does Each Day:\nAssists with indirect supply Kanban levels and site usage requirements; submit requisitions for supply orders to the Purchasing department\nWorks closely with Planning and Purchasing on projections and forecasting to ensure sufficient on hand inventory\nPerforms weekly audits of Infor picking transactions\nPerform weekly cycle counting of select raw materials, adjust Infor to reflect any variances, and provide counts for raw materials requested by various departments for order requisitioning\nAssists with inventory discrepancies / investigations and report findings to Finance\nMonitors inventory to reduce waste, prevent production schedule changes/shortages/stoppages\nWorks in collaboration with leaders on cycle counts; monthly, quarterly, and annually\nTracks and monitor raw material expiration dating\nReviews and escalates transactional errors for correction\nWorks with the finance team on cycle counting and communication of transactional analysis\nAssists in team meetings and training to support transactional accuracy\nTracks incoming deliveries and work with the Purchasing team to provide delivery updates to the Warehouse regarding large incoming shipments, controlled substance deliveries, and other deliveries that require special or additional receiving processing\nCommunicates and arrange site to site transfers as needed\nIdentifies excess inventory and assists with material return to vendors as needed\nOur Most Successful Inventory Control Technicians:\nHave excellent written and verbal communication skills\nPrioritize, handle and track multiple assignments\nCollaborate in a team environment\nMinimum Requirements for this Role:\nHigh School Diploma\n1+ years' experience in Supply Chain or other relevant work experience\n18+ years of age\nAble to successfully complete a drug and background check\nAble and willing to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout each shift, with or without reasonable accommodation\nAnalytical and system proficiency with abilities to apply outcomes of analyses\nProficiency using MS office applications, including Word and Excel\nExperience and proficiency using an ERP system such as INFOR\nMust be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas\nAny of the Following Will Give You an Edge:\nAssociate degree in supply chain, business, or related field\nExperience in Inventory management and reduction related projects such as establishing Kanbans, VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) and cycle counting\nStrong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint)\nBasic understanding of accounting concepts\nAbout QuVa:\nQuVa is a national, industry-leading provider of pharmacy services, including ready-to-administer sterile outsourcing and advanced AI-generated insights providing clarity for revenue capture and inventory management.
