You will work closely with research and engineering teams to build intelligent AI products, optimize model performance, and contribute to the development of next-generation language AI solutions.\n\nThe core responsibilities for the job include the following:\n\nNLP and LLM Development: \nDesign, develop, and optimize NLP and Generative AI solutions using modern transformer architectures.\nFine-tune pre-trained language models for domain-specific tasks such as: Text classification, Information extraction, Question answering, Summarization, Conversational AI, and Semantic search and retrieval.\nBuild custom machine learning and deep learning models for NLP applications.\nEvaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and experimentation frameworks.\n\nModel Training and Optimization: \nFine-tune open-source foundation models and transformer-based architectures.\nDevelop training pipelines for supervised, semi-supervised, and instruction-tuning workflows.\nImprove model performance through hyperparameter tuning, prompt optimization, and dataset engineering.\nWork with embeddings, vector databases, retrieval systems, and RAG-based architectures.\n\nEngineering and Deployment: \nBuild scalable model inference and serving pipelines.\nDevelop APIs and backend services using Python.\nOptimize models for latency, throughput, and production deployment.\nCollaborate with platform and engineering teams to deploy AI solutions in cloud environments.\n\nResearch and Innovation: \nStay current with advancements in NLP, LLMs, transformers, and Generative AI.\nExperiment with new architectures, fine-tuning approaches, and model evaluation techniques.\nContribute to technical discussions, architecture reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.\n\nRequirements: \nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Related quantitative disciplines.\nPreferred institutions: IITs, IISc, IIITs, BITS Pilani, Top NITs.\n1-3 years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, NLP, or AI Engineering roles.\nDemonstrated experience building and fine-tuning NLP or transformer-based models.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-moving AI landscape.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nPassion for building impactful AI products and solving real-world problems.\nTarget Talent Pool: IITs, IISc, IIITs, BITS Pilani, Top NITs, and other leading engineering institutions with strong AI/ML backgrounds.\n\nTechnical Skills: \nProgramming: Strong proficiency in Python. Experience with software engineering best practices, debugging, and code optimization.\nMachine Learning and Deep Learning: Strong understanding of: Supervised and unsupervised learning, Deep learning fundamentals, Model evaluation and validation, Feature engineering, and Optimization techniques.\nNLP: Solid understanding of: Tokenization, Embeddings, Attention mechanisms, Language modeling, Sequence-to-sequence learning, Information retrieval, and NLP evaluation metrics.\nTransformers and LLMs: Strong knowledge of transformer architectures including BERT, RoBERTa, T5 GPT-family models, and Llama-family models. Experience with: Fine-tuning, Instruction tuning, Parameter-efficient tuning (LoRA, QLoRA), Model evaluatio, Prompt engineering.\nFrameworks and Tools: Experience with: PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn.
