Data Scientist 1

Requirements:

• Experience: 1-3 years in Machine Learning, NLP, or Generative AI roles.
• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow, etc. ).
• NLP Knowledge: Good understanding of: Text preprocessing, Tokenization and embeddings, Language modeling, Sequence-to-sequence tasks, and Evaluation metrics.
• Transformer Architectures: Familiarity with models such as BERT, GPT, T5 and Llama.
• Model Development Experience: Fine-tuning pre-trained LLMs/NLP models, Training and evaluating ML models, Data preparation and experimentation, Hyperparameter tuning, Model deployment experience is a plus.
• Core Fundamentals: Data structures and algorithms, Statistics and probability, Linear algebra and optimization, and Machine learning concepts (supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning).
• If this is for a Generative AI role, a strong candidate would have hands-on experience with: Fine-tuning LLMs using LoRA/QLoRA, Working with frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, Building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, Prompt engineering and evaluation, Vector databases, and PyTorch-based model training and inference.

Preferred Educational Background:

• Candidates from premier Indian institutes such as Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Birla Institute of Technology and Science, and Top National Institutes of Technology (NITs).
