Understand complex product features, business workflows, and user needs to ensure software works reliably and is intuitive in real-world use. Ensures quality throughout agentic AI code delivery by helping to define clear requirements, user personas and workflows to guide and support AI-assisted implementation with effective tests and guardrails, and independently validating behavior, compatibility, usability, and performance before release. Works across the testing pyramid, improves application testability, and partners with engineering and product teams to identify risks early and deliver high-quality experiences.\nKey Roles and Responsibilities\nQuality and Best Practices Champion\nCombine business finance subject matter expertise with grounded technical skills\nHelp create user centric feature context to help generate complete and accurate test plans\nAble to understand complex financial instruments and business rules\nUnderstands of each tier of the testing pyramid\nEnsure stories and epics to meet both Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD)\nIdentify automation framework updates to support new feature tests \nApply AI/automate first BDD and TDD best practices\nAutomation/Agentic AI Test Developer\nPerformative understanding of AI prompts, agents, skills to create high-quality code and tools\nUnderstand how to develop/support code repository that supports a common Agentic automation solution.\nDesign, create and review automation to ensure complete automation that validates the intended functionality\nAbility to write automated tests and participate in code reviews and able to identify and fix AI agents and code\nAble to work at all levels of the test pyramid \nEnsures automated tests are incorporated into CI/CD pipeline, monitors and maintains tests\nInvestigates and resolves acceptance test and test case discrepancies in a timely fashion\nAble to work with performance automation tools to create performance test scripts \nAutomate and validate end to end GUI automation-based system workflows \nProactively refactors test automation\nAgile Practitioner\nParticipate in squad/scrum team and buddy up with developers on parallel development and testing\nAble to accurately estimate stories and one’s own capacity\nIdentify inefficiencies, communicate and be an agent of change and improvement\nApplies Kaizen principles to daily work\nBusiness Domain Expert\nHas business domain experience and extends business domain through purposeful study\nUnderstands what and why of user workflows in functional areas of responsibility\nDemonstrates analytical, systems thinking\nAcquire subject matter expertise in application under test \nAcquire end user knowledge to the point you can be an advocate for the customer experience\nTest Framework Developer\nUnderstand the automation architecture of test frameworks and tooling and AI agent infrastructure\nContribute to and suggest improvements to the test framework \nWork with multiple frameworks; REST/API, GUI, performance, ETL/big data as well as custom test solutions\nTier 3 Support Troubleshooter\nUnderstands the production support model\nUnderstands how production environments are deployed and configured\nContributes to production troubleshooting and use case replication with supervision\nExperience/Educational Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in the sciences (Computer Science, Math, Engineering, MIS preferred)\n3-6 years of software development or automation development experience\nExperience with AI, CI/CD, BDD/TDD, C#, Relational Databases, performance tools and Python/JavaScript\nIntellectual curiosity and demonstrated ability to learn on the fly \n3-6 years of finance industry experienced, ideally FX, Crypto, commodity, and algorithmic trading\nKey Competencies\nBusiness Orientation- Understands the needs and priorities of internal and external clients.
