It runs a consumer on/off-ramp platform and a fast-growing B2B infrastructure business: APIs and white-label solutions that let exchanges, neobanks, PSPs, wallets and other platforms embed regulated crypto and fiat services. The company is authorised under MiCA and PSD2 in the EU and is expanding its licence footprint, including new e-money authorisations. The culture is owner-led, high-ownership and low-bureaucracy: decisions are made quickly and close to the founders.\nAbout the role\nThis is a hands-on Treasury Manager role in the Finance & Treasury team, reporting to the Head of Treasury. Money moves every day across dozens of bank accounts, payment providers, acquirers, exchange venues and wallets, in several currencies and jurisdictions. Your job is to make sure it is in the right place, in the right amount, at the right time, and that the company can prove it to an auditor or a regulator.\nYou will take full ownership of operational payments, build regular cash and crypto reporting for Finance leadership, and get safeguarding reconciliation ready for the company’s upcoming e-money licences. This is an individual contributor role with real ownership: you will not just run existing processes, you will help redesign them.\nWhat you will own\nOperational payments: the end-to-end invoice and salary payment cycle, including validation, approval routing, FX and release across banks and EMIs, as well as beneficiary verification, dual authorisation, returns and stuck payments.\n\nPayment process redesign: working with Finance leadership to build a faster, well-controlled payment process: higher payment frequency, invoice checks with accounting before payment, backup approvers and the four-eyes principle kept at all times.\n\nCash and crypto reporting: collecting balances across banks, acquirers, PSPs, exchanges and custody accounts, and producing a signed-off cash flow report with analytics on changes in cash and crypto positions.\n\nSafeguarding and segregation: daily safeguarding reconciliation for e-money entities once operational, and client-asset segregation and reconciliation under MiCA and PSD2, with records that stand up to review.\n\nRegulatory and audit support: recurring returns for licensed entities and the treasury evidence pack for audit and regulator requests.\n\nLiquidity: short-term forecasting, pre-funding of settlement and trading accounts, sweeps, and stablecoin and hot/cold float management in line with policy.\n\nControls and improvement: treasury policies, authority matrices and SOPs, and moving reporting and reconciliation off spreadsheets together with Finance Systems and Engineering.\n\nWhat we are looking for\n3-5 years in treasury or payment operations, ideally at a crypto or fintech company.\n\nHands-on payment execution in a company role: approval workflows, banking portals, payment file formats and segregation of duties.\n\nReal crypto operations experience: exchange and custody accounts, stablecoin settlement, hot/cold wallet operations, on-chain verification, and network specifics such as fees, finality, memo/tag and stuck transactions.\n\nOwnership of regular balance reporting and reconciliation in a multi-currency, multi-account environment, including resolving breaks.\n\nExperience in a regulated environment: regulatory reporting, safeguarding or client-money rules, and audit or regulator requests.\n\nStrong Excel or Google Sheets skills.\n\nExceptional attention to detail, precision under cut-off pressure and full discretion with sensitive financial information.\n\nFluent English.\n\nBased in a time zone close to CET/EET.\n\nNice to have\nHands-on PSD2 or EMI safeguarding reconciliation, including UK safeguarding.\n\nMiCA/CASP crypto-asset segregation and reporting.\n\nExperience redesigning a payment or approval process together with accounting.\n\nBuilding cash flow reports and dashboards; SQL beyond the basics.\n\nFireblocks or a similar custody/MPC platform.\n\nA treasury certification such as ACT or CTP.\n\nWhat’s on offer\nFull ownership of treasury operations in a regulated crypto and payments business.\n\nA role where you shape processes and controls, not just follow them.\n\nA remote setup, or hybrid at the company’s European HQ, with a flat structure and fast decisions.\n\nA full-time contract with a performance bonus.\n\nPaid leave, health insurance and a certification budget.\n\nA clear hiring process: HR interview, a joint interview with Treasury and Finance leadership, and a reference check.
