This individual will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining a strong control environment, and helping scale the accounting function to support business growth. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in SaaS accounting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities:\nFinancial Reporting & Month-End Close\nLead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.\nPrepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.\nEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and assist in preparation of financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.\nOperational Accounting\nOversee the general ledger, accounts payable, recording payroll, fixed assets, and expense reporting functions.\nSupport the SVP, Corporate Controller in establishing and enforcing accounting policies and internal controls.\nAudit, Tax, and Compliance\nCoordinate the annual external financial audit and respond to auditor requests.\nAssist with tax compliance requirements including sales tax, property tax, and corporate income tax filings.\nSystems and Process Improvements\nIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, systems, and reporting.\nSupport ERP system maintenance and enhancements; collaborate with IT and finance operations as needed.\nTeam Management\nSupervise and mentor junior accounting staff or outsourced accounting partners.\nFoster a culture of accountability, professional growth, and collaboration.\nRequired Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. \n7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.\nExceptional accounting acumen and knowledge, proficient understanding and execution of all US GAAP requirements for US corporations.\nExperience in SaaS or technology companies with ARR-based business models strongly preferred.\nSolid understanding of U.S. GAAP financial reporting standards. \nInternational exposure of running international teams and knowledge of international accounting operations a plus.\nExperience with Sage Intacct, Avalara, Paystand, Tipalti and Tesorio a plus.\nStrong Excel skills;
