This role relates to converting other servicers data to upload into Onity’s loan servicing system and subsequently validating the data uploaded versus the data and/or documents received for all newly boarded loans. This position is responsible for developing projects in the loan boarding and related applications for bulk and flow transfers. The Data Mapping Analyst will analyze and program boarding files, as well as participate in data mapping, researching issues and testing the application and data loads. This position requires strong analytical skills and technical knowledge to support the Loansphere Loan Boarding System (LLB) as well as the Onity proprietary Loan Boarding Tool. The Data Analyst will work closely with various parties including their immediate team, business units, prior servicers and other technical teams to coordinate data transformation. This role will also be responsible for implementing tools to support transfer efficiency, as well as keeping documentation updated and communicating changes to processes, procedures and tools.\nJOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nEnsures that new loan programs or changes are incorporated into the boarding process.\n\nAnalyzes boarding error messages to determine root cause and remediates issues.\n\nCreates edit checks within the Loan Baording System to recognize errors prior to boarding.\n\nDevelop and configure the Loan Boarding System, as well as supporting toolsets such as SharePoint to support boarding data management. This includes mapping of seller/prior servicer data, create and update tables and define and implement solutions for converting the data.\n\nPerform testing to support trials and production. Review error reports and document/communicate issues found. Determine solutions for issues.\n\nDefine requirements for and implement tools and processes to improve data quality and visibility.\n\nWork closely via meetings and conference calls with Business Unit Leads and prior servicers to ensure data transformation is accurate and clearly communicated.\n\nUpdate/create procedures and continue to enhance and optimize the boarding process, including tool enhancements as required.\n\nEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements (i.e. RESPA, USAP, Sarbox, etc.).\n\nProduce and review required control reporting.\n\nMeet all established milestones for deboarding/boarding project plans.\n\nFollow all established procedures regarding boarding/deboarding.\n\nEnsure all quality steps are completed and documented.\n\nEscalate any possible deadline misses.\n\nCommunicate boarding/deboarding expectations with internal and external clients regularly.\n\nOrganize meetings with internal and external clients with documented meeting minutes.\n\nSelf-driven, should be able to handle high pressure.\n\nMust identify ways to automate processes and set up controls when required.\n\nWilling to work extra hours as per the process requirements/Flexibility to work in accordance with Business requirements.\n\nKEY RESULTS AREA:\nReduce number of Servicing Transaction Management related customer complaints by a designated management percentage year over year.\n\nMaintain quality at 100%.\n\nMeet all milestones related to the loan boarding process.\n\nTimely responses to servicers and internal parties.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nThis position requires a significant amount of mortgage servicing knowledge, including but not limited to, the ability to identify and understand various data points utilized within loan servicing systems to successfully service loans and interpret mortgage loan collateral and loan servicing documentation used in conjunction with the data to service loans.\n\nExperience with different loan programs such as ARM’s, HELOC’s, buydowns, Commercial, etc.\n\nBachelor’s Degree preferred, or minimum of five (5) + years’ mortgage servicing experience.\n\nSQL experience preferred\n\nMinimum of 4 years’ experience working with LoanSphere Loan Boarding (LLB).\n\nMSP servicing system experience required.\n\nAdvanced PC skills: Microsoft applications, including Excel and Access Database, Monarch, Adobe, SharePoint and LoanSphere Loan Boarding (LLB).\n\nAbility to deal with complex difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.\n\nAbility to set up controls and being able to speak to auditors/QA teams regarding process\n\nAbility to identify inconsistencies or issues in data and help come up with solutions\n\nSet up organized structure for incoming mapping changes and tracking for all internal and external partners.\n\nAbility to work independently, meet established deadlines, be very detail orientated, and have excellent organizational skills.\n\nOrganizational skillset able to handle multiple transactions at the same time\n\nAbility to easily adapt to changes in processes, procedures and priorities.\n\nProven strength in interpreting business requirements and implementing them in application or operational tools.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients to determine requirements\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nExperience with Empower or Encompass origination system a plus.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail and
