In this role, we seek to build strong relationships and trust with new and existing customers across industry sectors.\nThis position entails a technical background in the modernization of data warehouses and related applications to the cloud.\nThe role as a Technical Director will own the solution design, implementation/migration of large & complex data warehouses and associated applications on Public Cloud. This is a client-facing role, and he/she will be a trusted advisor to our clients for driving next-generation innovation and a leader in advancing Onix capabilities in the future. Lead the creation of value proposition and USP in Cloud, Data, AI/ML. BI Analytics & DevOps capability. The role is a critical building block to our core market offerings in cloud modernization & migration. As a leader for Cloud, you will collaborate with leaders in various divisions, industries, and geographies in developing & implementing solutions for our clients.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nResponsible for end-to-end project delivery of Data Warehouse migration project to the cloud from project estimations, project planning, resourcing, and monitoring perspective\n\nResponsible for working closely with customers to understand the requirements, discuss and define various use cases\n\nBe able to handle customer discussions, handle situations, and make decisions.\n\nBe able to anticipate and decide on priorities to be tackled and handled\n\nBe able to build a strong onshore team.\n\nLiaise with key stakeholders to define the big data solutions roadmap and prioritize the deliverables.\n\nDrive and participate in requirements gathering workshops, estimation discussions, design meetings, and status review meetings\n\nParticipate and contribute to Solution Design and Solution Architecture for implementing migration projects.\n\nMonitor and review the project's status and ensure that the deliverables are on track with respect to scope, budget, and time.\n\nCommunicate the status of the project transparently to all the stakeholders regularly.\n\nIdentify and manage risks/issues related to deliverables and arrive at mitigation plans to resolve the issues and risks.\n\nSeek proactive feedback continuously to identify areas of improvement\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience:\n18+ years of delivery & program management experience with a minimum of 6+ years in Cloud, Big Data & BI Analytics, Modernization, Migration, and Application Development.\n\nStrong expertise in data warehousing technologies, ETL process, and data integration\n\nTechnical Delivery Management in the Cloud (Public & Private) with extensive hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud services and frameworks including Bigquery.\n\nExposure to 2 Hyperscale Cloud Providers (GCP, Azure, or AWS) is preferred.\n\nHave worked in a client-facing role or at a client location.\n\nAbility to lead multiple teams with a strong focus on Delivery.\n\nExperience working in/with multi-vendor, 3rd parties, and client teams\n\nGood at people management and has experience leading onsite and offshore teams globally.\n\nExcellent articulation and written communication skills\n\nProvide thought leadership, lead innovation & ideation by leveraging evolving technologies to identify opportunities for efficiency in driving business excellence.\n\nEducation:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science or Engineering, having a Business Management Degree is preferred\nTravel Expectation: Up to 15-20% travel\nIt is the policy of Onix to ensure equal employment opportunity in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code 125.111 and all applicable federal regulations and guidelines.
