You take a hands-on approach and actively identify continuous improvement opportunities.\nIn this role, you’ll be responsible for:\nPreventing operations downtime and responding to escalations to enable quick production restarts, following through with root cause analysis and solution implementation.\nValidating new product readiness for production.\nImproving production and test processes for effective manufacturability.\nCreating process documentation, training, and operating instructions as appropriate.\nImplementing test automation tasks and developing new processes and tools.\nProviding support where needed to keep operations running smoothly, including assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing customer returns.\nManaging customer escalations related to production quality issues.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvements in product quality and production efficiency.\nThe team you will be joining:\nOur Engineering team creates our cutting edge industrial computers by finding innovative solutions on a daily basis. The Engineering team's success relies on collaboration, creative thinking, and a commitment to being at the forefront of technology. Roles on our Engineering team include, Electrical, Mechanical, Applications and Regulatory.\nLearn more about Life at OnLogic\nRequirements\n5+ years of experience as a production/process/manufacturing engineer or similar responsibilities.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and test design.\nExperience with computer and software troubleshooting in both Linux and Microsoft OS environments. \nSoftware Development experience with full stack web development, Javascript, SQL, Linux Terminal, and ability to learn additional languages.\nDrive efficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues. \nProject management skills to help prioritize and execute multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously. \nCollaborate with all levels and functions, both internal and externally. \nAbility to occasionally work off production hours.\nDegree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related Fields. \nWho we're looking for:\nYou are driven by the need to deliver customer satisfaction and understand that minutes count when production is stopped.
