The Carpenter performs metal stud framing, drywall hanging, ceiling grid installation, and finish carpentry on commercial construction projects in accordance with plans, specifications, and union work rules.\nWhat Will You Do?\nInstall metal stud framing for walls, soffits, and bulkheads per approved drawings\nHang drywall/gypsum board on walls and ceilings to specification\nInstall door frames, hardware, and finish trim as required\nInstall suspended ceiling grid and acoustic ceiling tile systems\nRead and interpret blueprints, layout lines, and project specifications\nSafely operate hand and power tools in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and OSHA standards\nCoordinate daily work assignments and sequencing with the Foreman and other trades\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area\nReport material or equipment needs and any safety concerns to the Foreman\nWhat You Bring\nCompletion of a CRCC-recognized apprenticeship program, or equivalent journeyman-level carpentry experience\nActive member in good standing with the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters, or eligible for union referral\nProficiency with framing and drywall hanging tools and techniques\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints and specifications\nReliable attendance and ability to work as part of a crew\nSalary Range:\nCarpenter pay rates per the CRCC CBA\nAbout The Company:\nOnni\nFor over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
