Reporting to the CCTV Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in operating the monitoring station and maintaining the safety of our clients’ assets.\nThis position works for overnight shift.\nPerks & Benefits\nCompetitive pay & a Comprehensive Benefits Package.\n\nBenefits include company-paid extended health care, dental care, vision care, life insurance, critical illness, and critical life insurance.\n\nAnnual Education Allowance\n\nGenerous Referral Program\n\nFun & collaborative company culture with lots of team-building events\n\nLocal discounts to restaurants, clothing stores, personal training, and more\n\nFree access to a fully equipped gym\n\nFriends and Family rates for our Hospitality brands.\n\nWhat You Will Do:\nConducts visual patrol verifications of assigned properties utilizing CCTV programs and/or associated software.\n\nInvestigates any and all causes of alarm conditions as indicated or flagged in the CCTV programs and/or associated software.\n\nActivates any assigned device(s) on an assigned property or operational sector in compliance with policy and procedure manual(s).\n\nConducts attentive and alert surveillance and counter-surveillance of any assigned properties, assets or person(s).\n\nPrepares and submits Incident Reports for Senior Management and location stakeholders.\n\nPrepares and submits reports for Crown Counsel or District Attorney according to operational sector.\n\nEnsures all required documentation is completed by shift end.\n\nConducts escalating communications with local authorities and agencies in accordance with policy and procedure manual(s).\n\nEnsures that emergency services are activated and correctly directed as required in response to on-location incidents and observations.\n\nWhat You Will Bring:\nMust be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.\n\nMust be able observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.\n\nMust have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.\n\nDemonstrates initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, integrity, and exercises confidentiality.\n\nMust be able to pass a background check\n\nValid BC Security Worker’s Licence.\n\nFamiliarity with standard and emergency security operations for construction, commercial, retail, and/or residential settings.\n\nFamiliarity with CCTV operations and associated hardware/software.\n\nSalary Range:\n$23-$24 per hour\nAbout The Company:\nOnni\nFor over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
