This is a highly tactical, execution-focused role responsible for keeping materials, equipment, and subcontracted services moving smoothly and arriving on time to support project schedules. The coordinator works closely with suppliers, vendors, and project teams to champion ideas and drive the smooth, on-time operation of procurement activities.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES \nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:\nPlan and execute initiatives to support vendor and supplier processes on a daily basis, with the goal of 100% on-time delivery of construction materials and equipment to job sites.\nSend monthly follow-up lists to vendors and suppliers to request status updates and review outstanding deliveries.\nExpedite shortage items, past-due materials and equipment, and urgent parts requests to help avoid project delays.\nPerform data analysis and reporting on vendor performance, material pricing, and delivery timelines using Microsoft Excel.\nManage the purchase order (PO) process and vendor acknowledgments for construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.\nCoordinate with project managers and site superintendents to confirm material and equipment needs align with project schedules.\nSupport procurement operations across active construction project sites and coordinate with the broader purchasing team as needed.\nMaintain accurate procurement records and vendor documentation.\nPerform other duties as assigned\nMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)\nOne to two years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or construction purchasing\nAbility to work onsite in Seattle.\nComfortable working within Excel workbooks; familiarity with construction materials and equipment a plus.\nSelf-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.\nAbility to solve problems and recommend solutions.\nStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.\nFamiliarity with construction terminology, materials, and project schedules preferred.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here represent those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this position.
