This position provides leadership and direction to Project Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and company standards.\nThe General Superintendent serves as the primary link between field operations, Project Management, Estimating, and Operations Management and is responsible for maintaining consistent field procedures, manpower planning, productivity, quality, and accountability across all active projects.\nWhat Will You Do?\nProvide overall leadership and supervision of field operations across multiple active projects.\nManage and mentor Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen, and field crews.\nCoordinate manpower requirements and crew allocation based on project schedules, priorities, and workload.\nReview project schedules and develop field manpower plans to meet required milestones.\nMonitor labor productivity, production rates, and manpower costs against project budgets.\nEnsure proper execution of metal stud framing, drywall installation, insulation, taping/finishing, ceilings, and other assigned scopes of work.\nReview drawings, specifications, scopes of work, schedules, and field conditions prior to and during construction.\nConduct regular project site visits to evaluate progress, manpower, productivity, safety, quality, andoverall jobsite performance.\nIdentify potential schedule, manpower, material, coordination, or constructability issues before theyimpact project performance.\nCoordinate closely with Project Managers regarding schedules, change orders, RFIs, materialrequirements, manpower, and field conditions.\nParticipate in preconstruction, project kickoff, scheduling, and coordination meetings as required.\nEnsure Foremen understand project scope, labor budgets, production expectations, and schedulerequirements before beginning work.\nMonitor and verify daily manpower reporting, timekeeping, T&M work, and field documentation.\nEnsure extra work and changes in scope are properly documented before or while work is beingperformed.\nCoordinate material deliveries, equipment, lifts, scaffolding, tools, and other field resources.\nMaintain strong working relationships with General Contractors, owners, subcontractors, unionrepresentatives, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.\nEnforce company safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements across all projects.\nMaintain high standards for workmanship, quality control, cleanliness, and jobsite organization.\nAssist with resolving field conflicts, coordination issues, and performance concerns.\nParticipate in hiring, training, evaluation, and development of field supervision and key fieldpersonnel.\nSupport project closeout, punch list completion, and final turnover.\nMaintain accountability for field performance and continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.\nWhat You Bring?\nMinimum 10 years of commercial drywall construction experience, with significant experience in field supervision.\nMinimum 5 years in a senior Superintendent, General Superintendent, or comparable field leadership position preferred.\nExtensive knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall, insulation, taping/finishing, acoustical ceilings, and related interior construction systems.\nStrong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change documentation.\nProven ability to manage manpower and field operations across multiple projects simultaneously.\nStrong understanding of labor productivity, production rates, project budgets, and cost control.\nExperience working on large commercial, multifamily, high-rise, tenant improvement, and/or public works projects.\nExperience working with union labor preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with field personnel, Project Managers, General Contractors, and senior management.\nWorking knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices.\nValid driver's license and ability to travel between active project sites as required\nSalary Range:\n$135,000-$160,000\nAbout The Company:\nOnni\nFor over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
