In addition, the Porter assists the rest of the staff, as directed, in their efforts to manage the property in an efficient manner.\nWhat You Will Do\nResponsible for cleaning and assisting in preventive maintenance and safety of assigned properties.\nReport and/or initiate action to correct unsafe conditions or damage to apartment and hotel property.\nPerform pressure washing, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing of common areas surfaces.\nRemove trash from common area waste bins and trash rooms and deliver to appropriate receptacles and replaces bin liners when necessary.\nWash down and clean trash room and trash chutes on a weekly basis.\nMonitor all trash rooms, ensure doors are operating properly and are clean and free of debris daily.\nMonitor, maintain, and clean all areas of parking garage.\nMonitor dog run and pet waste stations. Empty and clean bins and replenish pet waste bags.\nSupply and restock common area amenities such as refrigerators and gym towels.\nSafely operate trash compactors, cardboard baler, dumpster caddy, truck and utility hauling vehicles related to trash program.\nMove trash and recycling bins in and out for scheduled pickups.\nWipe down and sanitize gym and fitness equipment at regularly scheduled intervals.\nAssist with make readies, trash-outs, cleaning, spiffs, change locks, rekeys, and makes keys for vacant or occupied apartments and guest rooms.\nMaintain awareness of proper safety precautions.\nEnsure that storage areas remain locked when not in use.\nSafeguard all utility meter cut-offs, apartment, and fixture cut-offs, and drain cleanouts.\nKeep dumpster/compactor doors closed and ensure waste is disposed in the correct recycling or waste disposal bin.\nPerform interior and exterior painting duties as assigned.\nDistribute resident communications to residents: e.g., upcoming events, pest control notices, and newsletters.\nConduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws: e.g., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc.\nMaintain and upkeeps exterior lighting on a regular basis.\nMonitor, maintains, and cleans all interior and exterior common areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, walkways, hallways, amenity spaces, parking garage, elevators, and sidewalks\nPerform other duties as required.\nWhat You Will Bring\nHigh school diploma/GED\nCustomer service, housekeeping, or janitorial experience preferred\nMust be highly motivated and able to work independently\nSalary Range:\n$24.50-$26.00/hr\nAbout The Company:\nOnni\nFor over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
