Uses equipment only as intended.\nAnticipates guests’ needs, responds promptly, and acknowledges all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.\nBecomes familiar with all services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.\nRemoves soil, dirt, soap build-up and hair from bathroom mirrors, vanity, sink, toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain and floor.\nReplaces facial, toilet tissue and bathroom amenities in correct amount and location.\nUpdates status of rooms cleaned and turned down on assignment sheet/ in the system.\nReturns and restocks cart at end of shift.\nEmpties vacuum bag and wipes vacuum clean.\nEnsures security of any assigned guest room keys.\nReports any damages or maintenance problems as well as turns over any lost and found items from guest rooms to the Manager\nMakes up cribs and rollaway beds and re-hang/refold clothes.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)\nMust have strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and organize.\nUnderstand guest’s service needs. \nMust be speedy and accurate. \nBe a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment. \nFollow directions thoroughly. \nWork cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. \nWork with minimal supervision. \nMaintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. \nAbility to work weekends and a flexible schedule.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here represent those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this position.
