Additionally, the Project Engineer coordinates between the Project Management staff and Superintendent staff regarding design, procurement, schedule, field issues, and other construction items.\nPerks & Benefits:\nCompetitive pay and a Comprehensive Benefit Package\n\nHealth Saving Account, Flexible Saving Account, Employee Assistance Program\n\nAnnual Education Allowance\n\nGenerous Referral Program\n\nFun and collaborative company culture with lots of team-building events\n\nFriends and Family rates for Level Hotels & Furnished Suites, The Opus Hotel and The Emily Hotel\n\nWhat You Will Do:\nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:\nAssist in all aspects of preconstruction, estimating, coordination, execution, and closeout of construction projects.\n\nReport to Superintendent/ Project Manager and closely work with Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, field staff, subcontractors, design consultants, third parties, city officials, utility companies, and other internal Onni departments.\n\nPre-Construction Phase Responsibilities\nAssist in quantity takeoffs, buyout process, and developing scopes of work\n\nAssist with cost estimates, budget development, and value engineering\n\nResearch and prequalify vendors and subcontractors\n\nConstruction Phase Responsibilities\nManage document control including drawings, specifications, and other supplemental information\n\nResponsible for coordinating and attending meetings, and distributing meeting minutes\n\nUtilize project management softwares for processing RFI’s and submittals\n\nTrack material lead times and procurement status\n\nAttend coordination meetings and track action items / to-do lists\n\nProcess permits and city approvals as required\n\nAssist with change order management and tracking\n\nDevelop and manage various tracking logs including permits, contracts, change orders, procurement, RFIs, submittals, punch lists, etc.\n\nCommunicate with field staff, subcontractors, design consultants, third parties, city officials, utility companies, and other internal Onni departments.\n\nField Responsibilities\nAssist superintendents with overseeing site activities and communicating with subcontractors\n\nProcess purchase orders and track deliveries\n\nDocument site issues, design changes, and potential cost impacts\n\nParticipate in site safety reviews\n\nDevelop and maintain punch lists and deficiency lists\n\nCoordinates site visits from consultants and third parties\n\nWhat You Bring:\nAssociate's degree or higher in Project Management or related field required\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of construction and building codes required\n\nProficiency in MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows and Bluebeam\n\nSalary Range:\n$80,000-$90,000\nAbout The Company:\nOnni\nFor over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
