This position provides technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development through design, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.\nThe successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial construction, project management, contractor coordination, cost control, and schedule management within manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data center, or similar industrial environments.\nManage construction projects ranging from facility renovations to utility infrastructure upgrades and manufacturing equipment installations. \nDevelop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution plans. \nCoordinate with internal stakeholders including Facilities Engineering, Operations, EHS, Procurement, Finance, and Manufacturing teams. \nReview and approve contractor proposals, construction drawings, specifications, and submittals. \nLead design reviews, constructability assessments, and risk evaluations. \nMonitor project progress to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and quality requirements. \nManage contractors and consultants, ensuring compliance with company safety standards and construction requirements. \nConduct field inspections to verify workmanship, quality, and conformance to design documents. \nSupport permitting activities and coordination with local authorities and regulatory agencies. \nFacilitate project meetings and communicate status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to leadership. \nDevelop and maintain project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. \nCoordinate commissioning, startup, and turnover activities. \nEnsure all project documentation, as-built drawings, and closeout packages are completed and archived. \nDrive continuous improvement initiatives related to project execution, construction management, and facility reliability. \nBachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, architectural engineering, or related engineering discipline. \nMinimum of 5 years of experience managing construction or facility infrastructure projects. \nExperience in industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, power generation, data center, or similar technical environments. \nKnowledge of construction methods, building systems, utility infrastructure, and project delivery processes. \nExperience managing contractors, subcontractors, and engineering consultants. \nStrong understanding of project budgeting, estimating, and cost control. \nProficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. \nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documents. \nStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. \nSalary: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $88,700 to $142,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
