# Device Engineer

onsemi is seeking a talented and highly motivated Device Engineer for our semiconductor fabrication facility in Syracuse, NY. onsemi is a leading innovator in semiconductor technology, dedicated to advancing power electronics through cutting-edge research and development. The focus of this role is yield enhancement, , new product introduction, and other sustaining/optimization activities. You will work with other engineers and technicians in a fast-paced wafer fab environment that delivers vertical GaN technology. This position will build upon your semiconductor device knowledge across the entire fabrication process flow (from bare wafers to finished goods), with a significant focus on fab manufacturability. Communication skills will be important, since this position regularly interfaces with in-house fab process engineering, technology development, failure analysis, design/layout, wafer probe/test, in-line defect control, quality, and GaN division leadership.
