This position will be responsible for overseeing U.S. and international export control activities, ensuring compliance with applicable trade regulations, and driving the development and continuous improvement of export compliance processes throughout the organization.\nThe Export Operations Supervisor will serve as a key subject matter expert supporting business operations, logistics, supply chain, engineering, procurement, legal, and sales organizations. This role will be responsible for export licensing, commodity classifications, Automated Export System (AES) filing oversight, denied party screening processes, export controls program development, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance initiatives. The successful candidate will have extensive experience building and managing export compliance programs within a multinational manufacturing environment, preferably within the semiconductor or high-technology industry.\n Candidates for this position will be responsible for the following functions within the Global Trade Operations organization:\nLead and supervise daily export compliance operations supporting U.S. and global shipments.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive export controls compliance program aligned with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements, and other applicable international regulations.\nServe as the primary subject matter expert for export control compliance matters across the organization.\nManage and oversee AES filing processes, ensuring timely and accurate Electronic Export Information (EEI) submissions.\nReview and determine Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) for products, technology, software, and manufacturing equipment.\nSupport export license determinations, applications, recordkeeping, and compliance with licensing conditions.\nDevelop and maintain export compliance procedures, work instructions, and internal controls.\nCollaboration on restricted party screening program build.\nExecute restricted party screening reviews and resolve potential compliance concerns.\nPartner with logistics providers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies on export-related matters.\nLead internal export compliance audits, risk assessments, and corrective action initiatives.\nEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reporting metrics for export compliance activities.\nTrain and mentor compliance team members and business stakeholders on export control requirements and best practices.\nSupport mergers, acquisitions, new product introductions, facility expansions, and other strategic business initiatives with export compliance guidance.\nMonitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts to internal stakeholders.\nDrive continuous process improvements through automation, technology solutions, and cross-functional collaboration.\n Candidates for this position should possess a Bachelor's Degree and/or 10-15 years of progressive experience in Export Controls and Global Trade Compliance, including direct experience developing and managing export compliance programs.\nThe following qualifications are highly preferred:\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, Legal Studies, Engineering, or a related field.\n10-15 years of experience in export controls, global trade compliance, or international trade operations.\nDemonstrated experience designing, implementing, and managing corporate export compliance programs.\nExtensive knowledge of:Export Administration Regulations (EAR)\nBureau of Industry and Security (BIS) requirements\nOffice of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations\nCensus Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR)\nDeemed export requirements\nExport licensing processes\n\nAdvanced knowledge of AES filing requirements and Electronic Export Information (EEI) reporting.\nExperience supporting semiconductor, electronics, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or technology industries preferred.\nStrong understanding of ECCN classification methodologies and export jurisdiction determinations.\nExperience conducting internal compliance audits and managing corrective action plans.\nProficiency with ACE reporting, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office skills.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.\nExperience leading projects and supervising team members.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced global business
