We will rely on this person to keep our facilities in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs! This person must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. This position will report directly to the Manager of Facilities.\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\n· Overall Facility Cleanliness and Safety awareness.\n· Perform maintenance and light repairs/painting as needed.\n· Perform routine landscaping/minor upkeep on the grounds.\n· Patch and Paint walls and floors, as needed (on walls, sidewalks, etc.).\n· Undertake light installation or carpentry (e.g., assembly of cabinets).\n· Repair equipment or appliances, and PM of cafeteria appliances/equipment.\n· Assist facilities team and possible tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs.\n· Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g., shoveling snow).\n· Troubleshoot, identify, and report the need for major repairs.\n· Other duties as needed or assigned.\n· Opportunities to grow with the company and assist with equipment PM activities once qualified (training provided internally).\nEducation: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering\nLicense: Licensed Chemical Engineer\nWork Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Relevant experience in facilities, manufacturing, or semiconductor operations is an advantage.\nOther appropriate combinations of above mentioned education and directly related experiences are acceptable if the ability to perform duties and responsibilities is demonstrated. \nSkillsBasic working knowledge on the operation, control, maintenance, and repair of pumps, electric motors, fans, blowers, electrical and power panels, air-conditioning equipment (centralized, packaged & unitary units). \nBasic knowledge and exposure on the fundamentals of semiconductor manufacturing processes plus understanding of OSHA, Safety and other regulatory standards, policies and procedures. \nEffective communication (verbal & written) skills coupled with information management abilities. General knowledge of computers such as word processing and spreadsheet applications. \nKnowledgeable in EHS systems specially on safety. \nEffective analytical and problem solving skills, especially in areas of facilities operations and maintenance. \nEffective organizational, time management, as well as prioritizing skills.
