This position reports to the Failure Analysis Lab Section Head. In this role, you will be responsible to perform details failure investigations and root cause analyses on discretes, analog, and power module products. Your work will support requests either from internal production or external customers.\nYou will utilize various analytical techniques such as electrical characterization, physical inspection, cross-sectioning, SEM/EDX analysis, and other advanced failure analysis tools to identify failure mechanisms and provide actionable insights. Your findings will contribute to product improvement, yield enhancement, and customer satisfaction.\nThis role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly through reports and presentations.\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform electrical and physical failure analysis on semiconductor devices and power modules.\n\nUse tools such as SEM/EDX, X-ray, curve tracer, optical microscopy, cross-sectioning, and chemical decapsulation.\n\nDocument findings in detailed reports and present results to internal teams and customers.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Reliability, Product Development, and Manufacturing.\n\nSupport customer returns and field failure investigations (EFAR).\nDrive continuous improvement in failure analysis methodologies and lab capabilities.\n\nMaintain lab equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.\n\nOther duties as needed or assigned by your supervisor.\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED.
