This position owns material planning activities, inventory optimization, shortage prevention, and planning system health to ensure operational continuity and minimize supply risk.\nMaterial Planning & Inventory Management\nManage assigned material portfolios and ensure sufficient inventory to support business requirements.\nMaintain and optimize planning parameters including Min/Max levels, safety stock, reorder points, and lead times.\nReview planning signals and execute appropriate actions to maintain inventory health.\nMonitor inventory levels and proactively identify potential shortages or excess inventory.\nDevelop recovery plans for material shortages and drive actions to prevent stock-out events.\nSupport inventory accuracy initiatives and material disposition activities.\nParticipate in regular inventory reviews and continuous improvement activities.\nOperational Support\nPartner with engineering, maintenance, operations, and warehouse teams to understand material requirements and changing business needs.\nSupport new material introductions, engineering changes, and inventory transitions.\nEnsure timely processing of planning actions and material replenishment requests.\nMonitor material demand trends and adjust planning strategies as necessary.\nSupport critical spare parts and consumable inventory management programs. \nAnalytics & Continuous Improvement\nAnalyze inventory, demand, and supply data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.\nUtilize ERP and reporting tools to monitor key planning metrics.\nSupport root cause investigations related to material shortages, inventory issues, and planning process gaps.\nDrive improvements to planning processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.\nDevelop and maintain planning documentation and work instructions as needed.\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.\n3+ years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, production planning, or supply chain operations.\nExperience utilizing ERP/MRP systems.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.\nKnowledge of inventory management methodologies, including Min/Max planning and safety stock management.\nExperience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.\nExperience leading continuous improvement initiatives.\nSalary: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $57,400 to $100,200 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of the internal equity of our current team members.
