Equipment/Maintenance Technicians sustain and run the fab floor with primary responsibility of resolving equipment and process issues. Technician positions are shift positions working a compressed week of 12-hour shifts. Onsemi is a 24/7 manufacturing facility providing technician support across all shifts.\nDay 1 Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday 6:30 AM-7:00 PM\nSign-on bonus: $5,000\nSign-On Bonus: Subject to your commencing employment with us, you will also be eligible to receive a sign-on award in the gross amount of $5,000, which will be paid in 4 quarterly payments of $1,250 each (subject to applicable taxes and payroll deductions). The first payment is payable within the first 30 days of you joining onsemi and quarterly thereafter for 3 additional payments. You must be an active employee with onsemi to receive these sign-on awards. In addition, if your employment is terminated with onsemi for any reason, the sign-on award(s) received as of the date of your termination do not need to be repaid to onsemi\n\nResponsibilities for Internal Candidates\n\nMonitor, control, and qualify state-of-the-art 300 mm ION semiconductor equipment\nPerform, and teach others how to perform, preventive maintenance activities\nReact to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment\nReview Statistical Process Control charts and other system indicators for process quality and react to Out of Control conditions, including defect troubleshooting\nPerform, and teach others how to perform, visual inspections (quality checks)\nRecover from process and tool interruptions\nIdentify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost\nComplete all required reporting and documentation\nUnderstand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements\nActively participate in continuous improvement processes, learning, and skills development\nStrong team member, able to work well with a global team, train new team members as needed, and perform other duties as assigned\nPerform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs\n Education: High School Degree (or equivalent)\n2-4 years of relevant experience\nTravel - 0% to 10%\nFluency in English Language - written & verbal\nPhysical Capacity Demands - Able to perform shift work on a 12-hour shift schedule, including working in a cleanroom environment per the semiconductor industry and Onsemi protocol/requirements.\nAble to wear all required cleanroom & safety protective clothing and equipment throughout a 12-hour day (excluding breaks).\nAble to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift (preventive maintenance) and/or process issues.\nAble to perform work in a standing position for the majority of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)\nEmployees in this role may be required to participate in the site Emergency Response Brigade and support emergency preparedness activities. Participation includes maintaining required training, certifications, and response readiness in accordance with site policies and business needs.\nHourly: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $21.20 to $36.92 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.T he final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
