This is a multi-skilled, hands-on role responsible for supporting semiconductor manufacturing through equipment maintenance, process execution, and day-to-day operations. Application Technicians work 12-hour compressed shifts in a cleanroom environment.\nEmployees in this role may be required to participate in the site Emergency Response Brigade and support emergency preparedness activities. Participation includes maintaining required training, certifications, and response readiness in accordance with site policies and business needs.\nDay 1 shift : Sunday, Monday, Tuesday every other Wednesday from 6:30 am -7:00 pm\n Operations Support\nOperate production tools safely and efficiently within a cleanroom environment\nLoad/unload wafers, materials, and tools in accordance with operating procedures\nMonitor equipment performance, alarms, and system statuses\nSupport production goals by maintaining equipment uptime and tool availability\nFollow all safety, ESD, and contamination control guidelines\nProcess Support\nLearn and monitor semiconductor manufacturing processes according to documented procedures\nAssist with process setup, recipe changes, and process optimization under engineering guidance\nPerform inspections, measurements, and basic data collection to ensure process stability\nIdentify process deviations and escalate issues to engineering or leadership as required\nEquipment Maintenance\nPerform preventative maintenance (PM) on semiconductor manufacturing equipment\nDiagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime\nAssist with equipment repairs, part replacements, and system calibrations\nMaintain maintenance logs and documentation in accordance with company standards\nSupport equipment startups, shutdowns, and qualification activities\nContinuous Improvement & Team Collaboration\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives for process, equipment, and operations\nWork closely with engineers, technicians, and operators across shifts\nAssist with training new team members and documenting procedures\nMaintain a high standard of housekeeping and organization in work areas\nPerform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner, supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) programs\n Required\nHigh school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of technical manufacturing experience\nAbility to stand and walk for up to 10-hours per day in a cleanroom environment while wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves.\nBasic computer literacy, including the use of email, web-based systems, and common office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office applications) to document work, create reports, and communicate with team members.\nMust be self-motivated, showing initiative and drive to exceed performance expectations. \nAnalytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with close attention to detail.\nAbility to work well in a diverse team environment.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities. \nAble to speak and write fluently in English. \nMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs. \nPreferred\nVocational High School, Technical training, or technical trade certificate. \nProficient in working with hand tools, meters, and calibration tools\nKnowledge of and ability to follow 5S and LEAN are a plus.\nHourly: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $18.46 to $32.26 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
