The successful candidate will have strong technical ability and preferably experience in power products, good communication skills, and a team player who is able to work with global team in a matrix-organization structure of a multinational semiconductor company.\nJob Responsibility\nProduct owner of assigned devices. Primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to assigned portfolio, including supply chain management, customer service, sales and marketing, technical publications, document control, etc.\nGenerally responsible for all aspects of engineering activities associated with the assigned product portfolio.\nEstablish relationships with key contacts in wafer fabrication and assembly/test to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving. \nFacilitate cross functional teams for problem solving, including coordination activities with Product Engineers in other regions to achieve common goals. \nSupport Customer Return (EFAR) resolution and quality improvements to ensure customer satisfaction. Liaise with related manufacturing operations (test, assembly, probe and Fab) as needed to drive root cause investigations and resolution.\nWork on yield improvements with support from related operations counterparts to reach the set targets. \nWork on cost reduction projects to improve product gross margin and collaborate with related operations and other functional teams to achieve savings.\nResponsible for providing onsite PE support for Manufacturing operations to enable smooth running of owned products to meet delivery expectations.\n Qualification\nA Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical, Electronics or Physics\n3-5 years of device or product and test engineering experience preferable.\nProficient knowledge of power semiconductor devices such as IGBT, Rectifiers and gate drivers.\nKnowledge of or experience in silicon fabrication, assembly and testing of discrete power devices is strongly desired. Experience in power modules is a plus.\nExperience with Silicon Carbide technology is a big plus for this role.\nGood knowledge in design of experiment, statistical analysis, simple circuit & failure analysis.\nHands-on working experience with statistical analysis software tools such as Minitab/JMP is preferred.\nProven track record of effective problem solving and good engineering judgment.\nAbility to multitask & self-driven to produce results in a timely fashion with strong sense of competitive urgency.\nGood verbal and written communications skills.
