The position is responsible for driving regulatory compliance, operational risk management, EHS management system effectiveness, environmental stewardship, employee safety, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the region.\nThe successful candidate will partner closely with site leadership teams to ensure consistent implementation of corporate EHS requirements, customer standards, and applicable legal obligations while fostering a strong EHS culture and supporting business growth across Asia. Responsibilities include regional program deployment, site support, auditing, incident management, leadership development, and cross-site standardization efforts.\nRegional EHS Leadership\nLead the deployment and execution of Global EHS strategies, goals, initiatives, and performance expectations across Asia sites.\nProvide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to site EHS managers and EHS professionals.\nEstablish regional EHS priorities aligned with business objectives and risk profiles.\nDrive a proactive safety culture through leadership engagement, employee involvement, and accountability.\nCompliance & Governance\nEnsure sites maintain compliance with all applicable environmental, occupational health, safety, and industrial hygiene regulations.\nOversee implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and RBA requirements.\nMonitor regulatory developments and communicate changes affecting operations within the region.\nEnsure sites maintain legal registers, permits, licenses, and regulatory reporting requirements.\nAudit & Assurance\nDevelop and execute regional audit programs to verify compliance with corporate requirements, customer standards, and regulatory obligations.\nSupport customer audits, certification audits, regulatory inspections, and corporate assessments.\nTrack and verify closure of corrective and preventive actions.\nEnsure effectiveness reviews are completed and supported by objective evidence. \nRisk Management & Operational Excellence\nLead regional risk assessments involving environmental, chemical, process safety, industrial hygiene, contractor safety, and emergency response programs.\nDrive implementation of critical control management and operational risk reduction initiatives.\nPromote sharing of lessons learned and best practices across sites.\nIncident Management\nLead investigations of significant incidents, near misses, environmental releases, and compliance events.\nEnsure root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions are implemented effectively.\nSupport crisis management, business continuity, and emergency preparedness programs.\nPeople Development\nBuild EHS organizational capability through training, mentoring, succession planning, and leadership development.\nDevelop site EHS leaders and strengthen technical competencies across the region.\nPromote cross-site collaboration and standardization of EHS processes and best practice\nPerformance Management\nEstablish and monitor regional EHS KPIs.\nAnalyze performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement.\nProvide regular updates to executive leadership on EHS performance, key risks, compliance status, and strategic initiatives.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related technical discipline.\nExperience\nMinimum 10-15 years of progressive EHS experience within semiconductor manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, chemical processing, or other high-technology industries.\nDemonstrated experience supporting manufacturing operations across multiple countries in Asia.\nExperience leading EHS professionals and site-level EHS organizations.\nTechnical Knowledge\nStrong knowledge of:Environmental regulations\nOccupational health and safety regulations\nIndustrial hygiene principles\nChemical safety management\nHazardous materials development capabilities.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nTravel\nWillingness to travel throughout Asia (approximately 30-50%) to support sites, audits, project reviews, leadership engagement, and regulatory
