In this role, you will focus on the following.\nDesign analog and mixed-signal blocks and chip top level\nComprehensive simulation coverage of all circuits designed\nContribute to product definition, specification review, feasibility, and architecture\nAssist with design schedule and die size estimation\nOptimize circuit size and performance\nSupport post-silicon validation and debug\nDesign, simulation, and verification of power converter IC using state of the art EDA tools.\n BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 5 years of experience, or MS + 3 years of experience\nSolid knowledge of EDA design tools and Cadence design environment\nComprehensive understanding of power conversion architectures such as Buck, Boost, LDOs, gate drivers, comparators, linear regulators gm-stage and relevant Analog building blocks.\nFamiliarity with advanced Bipolar, CMOS, and High Voltage BCD technology, Process, Device Physics, Semiconductor Manufacturing processes, and their impact on Analog performance\nUnderstanding of analog and mixed signal circuits including amplifies, bandgap, data converters, current sense amplifiers etc.\nUnderstanding of modelling in Verilog A/AMS/System Verilog\nGood verbal and written communication skills\nProficiency in leading-edge design and verification tools such as Simplis or MATLAB for architectural simulations, Cadence Spectre for schematic capture, simulation, layout, and tape-out\nAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processes \nAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different
