This person can have prior Supply Chain Planning Experience or suitable relevant skills and a demonstrated ability to learn job specifics quickly. The Supply Planner role covers both execution of supply planning and communication of supply status to all of the relevant parties - these include the Business Unit Management, Factory Management, Finance, and other tactical members of the Supply Chain Management team. Balancing Supply against volatile demand and Inventory Objectives requires strong data-handling and analytic skills, attention to details, and crisp, timely communication. A thorough understanding of supply chain basics and general knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing is required.\n Serve as the Business Unit (BU) supply interface and coordinate with demand planning counterparts to ensure that the plans remain aligned.\nOversee wafer starts and make final decisions on starts. \nPlan, manage, and set targets for inventory and build-category.\nCoordinate the allocation process (BUs make decisions) by suggesting an allocation based on BU strategy, setting up allocation in planning systems and monitoring allocation performance until close.\nExecute product transfers per BU, manage suggested EOL devices.\nDrive strategic builds and factory filler.\nManage lead time by providing recommendations based on system calculated lead times, Market trends and coordinating with BU to gather decisions what gets published to market.\nProvide Beginning of Quarter (BOQ) supply input/coordination, advocate for BU and drive supply reviews and Product group and Division levels.\nWork with procurement and external manufacturing on negotiations (or re-negotiations) for external capacity.\n Requirement\nBS/BA in Supply Chain Management (or related field)\n0-3 years of SCMS work experience, prior experience in tactical planning roles\nExcellent communication and coordination skills.\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.\nGeneral understanding of the Sales and Operations Planning processes\nSkills\nMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)\nEnd to end Supply Chain Knowledge/Understanding\nExcel at decision-making, direction, and execution to results\nExhibit strong communication and listening skills\nAbility to organize and direct strategic activity at the global level\nCustomer service oriented\nProgram/Project Management (PMP is a plus, not essential)\nSemiconductor experience is highly desired\nAdvanced data mining skills (SQL, database skills, advanced MS Excel skills like Macro, VBA, etc.) are a strong
