You will develop and support the manufacturing of 300mm silicon wafers used for Automotive and Consumer applications throughout the world. You will also provide process engineering support for additional process areas. In this team-based environment, you will work closely with integration, process and equipment teams to provide robust, quality products to our customers.\n Own critical Cleans processes and associated health of SCREEN, TEL, LAM, and other equipment in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.\nApply technical skills to implement equipment and process improvements that increase product performance, reduce cost, and increase throughput and yield.\nDesign and document experiments utilizing engineering methodology to improve yield, cost, and throughput.\nResolve complex, time-sensitive technical problems to maintain production or development schedules.\nAs a Cleans Engineer, you will be expected to make decisions using data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) techniques.\nProvide daily process and product lot disposition support in the Cleans processing area.\nContribute to the understanding and resolution of all equipment-level shifts in tool performance\nWithin the first six to twelve months, develop advanced sustaining responsibilities and contribute to cost reduction, yield improvement, and production throughput increase.\n Bachelor's Degree in:Chemical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Related Technical Discipline\n\nExperience\nMinimum 3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.\nMinimum 2 years in Cleans Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, or Module Engineering roles.\nDemonstrated leadership of large-scale improvement projects.\nExperience supporting high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments.\nTechnical Skills\nDeep understanding of Clean processes and Clean equipment.\nExpertise in statistical process control (SPC).\nExperience with:DOE methodology\nFault Detection and Classification (FDC)\nYield analysis\nRoot Cause Analysis\nFMEA\nProcess qualification methodologies\n\nStrong data analytics capabilities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's Degree or PhD in Engineering or Physical Sciences.\nExperience with SCREEN or TEL single wafer and BATCH platforms \nExperience supporting automotive, power semiconductor, or image sensor technologies.\nSalary: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $65,800 to $102,100, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
