You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, guiding them through complex technical landscapes and ensuring successful delivery of PLM solutions aligned with business goals.\nThis role blends deep technical expertise with leadership, consulting, and solution architecture. You will collaborate across PTC’s ecosystem-including R&D, PLM Segment, SaaS BDMs, and implementation partners-to design, validate, and deploy scalable PLM architectures that meet enterprise needs.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngage with client business stakeholders' various functional domains to elicit, analyze, and translate business use cases into comprehensive PLM solution designs\nRepresent the design and implementation team in project governance activities; providing recommendations and risk assessment information in support of decision making\nThis role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex technical architectures into clear business value, effectively engaging with stakeholders across engineering and executive levels to align PLM solutions with enterprise goals.\nLead the design, implementation, and validation of PLM solutions in Windchill environments.\nPartner with implementation architects and IS teams to ensure solutions align with PTC’s SaaS guardrails and best practices.\nConduct technical assessments to determine feasibility and provide direction for estimating and planning.\nCollaborate with client IT/IS teams to ensure compliance with deployment standards and cloud infrastructure requirements.\nFacilitate client workshops, document business process issues, and develop actionable solution roadmaps.\nSupport data migration, configuration, and integration efforts using Windchill frameworks and technologies (e.g., Java, JSP, XML, Ant).\nProvide feedback to PTC R&D and PLM Segment to enhance SaaS tools and services based on field experience.\nMentor and guide project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.\nContribute to enablement materials, best practices, and methodology development for partner ecosystems.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.\n7-12 years of experience in consulting, implementing, deploying, or supporting PLM systems, with a strong focus on PTC Windchill.\nProven ability to architect enterprise PLM solutions, including process-centric deployments and application design.\nCloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and enterprise application frameworks.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and executive levels.\nExperience in software development and deployment using languages like: Java, JSP, XML, and Ant.\nAbility to visualize complex systems, guide diverse teams, and balance analytical and creative problem-solving.\nComfortable with ambiguity and change, and capable of acting decisively in dynamic environments.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional teams across customer and internal PTC stakeholders, including large-scale project teams. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience leading multi-solution PLM programs across industries.\nUnderstanding of Windchill+ SaaS architecture,\nDemonstrated success in value management, solution adoption, and client transformation initiatives.\nContributions to training, enablement, and community engagement within PLM consulting environments.\nExperience in Automotive, MedTech, Government.\nPTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $87,000 - 160,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP), which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
