The ideal candidate combines deep domain expertise in Service Engineering andTechnical Publications with strong technical acumen, customer focus, and a passion for applying AI technologies to solve real-world business challenges.\nProduct Focus Areas\nWindchill Service Information and Service Parts \nArbortext Authoring suite & Windchill integrations \nAI-powered Authoring\nContent Lifecycle Management and Delivery\nYour Day-to-Day\nDefine and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for PTC’s Service Information and Arbortext solutions, enabling a connected digital thread across the product lifecycle to meet the needs of Service Engineering, Technical Publications, Service Execution, and Content Delivery.\nEngage directly with customers, partners, analysts, and field teams to understand business challenges and market opportunities and translate those into effectively roadmap and release plans.\nTranslate business requirements into epics, user stories, and prioritized product backlogs.\nEngage with R&D teams on technical discussions and provide needed guidance on implementation approaches and backlog execution through product releases activity.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation.\nPartner closely with R&D and UX teams to design and deliver innovative and AI powered value driven solutions. \nDrive Agile planning, backlog management, prioritization, and story acceptance.\nSupport Product launches, Sales enablement, and Go-to-Market activities.\nCollaborate across Product Management, R&D, Sales, Support and Partners.\nTechnical Skills & Knowledge\nRequired\nStrong foundation in modern Product Management practices with focus on inbound skills and ability to translate customer needs into successful enterprise solutions.\nExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog management, and user story development.\nStrong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Engineering, Service Engineering, Service Lifecycle Management (SLM), Technical Publications.\nProven implementation experience in service content workflows of enterprise software applications - structured content, publishing, content delivery etc.\nRelevant Knowledge of common industry technical documentation standards - DITA2.0 a must, DITA-OTK, Industry 4.0, S1000D, iiRDS, and eIFUs.\nUnderstanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), REST APIs, microservices, and modern SaaS architectures.\nFamiliarity with enterprise search, metadata, taxonomy, and information architecture.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAI & Innovation Focus\nStrong passion for AI and emerging technologies.\nUnderstanding of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architecture, semantic search, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and AI assistants.\nExperience identifying and delivering AI-powered customer solutions.\nAbility to translate AI innovations into product strategy and measurable business value.\nKnowledge of AI applications for content creation, translation, knowledge management, and service operations.\nPreferred Experience\nWindchill, Arbortext, or comparable enterprise platforms.\nManufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Industrial Equipment, or Medical Device industries.\nService organizations, aftermarket operations, or technical publications teams.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Technical Communication, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Engineering, Solution Architecture, or related disciplines.\nProven success delivering enterprise software products from concept through market adoption.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively with both highly technical teams and executive stakeholders.\nSuccess Profile\nThe ideal candidate is a strategic product leader who:\nbridges business needs and technical implementation.\nSolves customer problems and delivers great quality product outcomes.\nis passionate, highly motivated and shapes successful customer implementations\ndrives innovation and critical thinking.\ninfluences product strategy across a complex software portfolio.\nspeaks credibly with customers, engineers, service leaders, and executives.\nPTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $112,000 - $126,500. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP), which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
