You'll own a domain end to end (claims, wallet, subscriptions, provider network, or payments), including its design, release, failures, cost, and long-term maintainability. Java and Spring Boot are the core, but you'll also write Node services, ship React screens, and run your own Kubernetes deployments and Kafka consumers.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn the high-level and low-level design of your domain, and get both reviewed before building\nBuild and maintain Java services and stable APIs that other teams depend on\nGet money and health data right: correct, traceable, and safe to retry\nRun your services in production, with dashboards, alerts, and on-call ownership\nDebug hard, intermittent issues and fix root causes\nSet technical direction, review code, and mentor other engineers\nUse AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) daily, while reading and owning every line you ship\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nMust have\n6+ years of professional development, mostly in Java (8+, ideally 17+) and Spring Boot\nProduction Node.js and working React\nSystem design experience, both HLD and LLD\nKafka or similar event-driven systems in production\nKubernetes and containers\nSQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and MongoDB, including query tuning\nObservability set up by you (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK)\nExtensive daily AI use in your workflow\nPrior experience as owner and on-call for a system you built\nNice to have\nLed a multi-team project or measurably improved a system's reliability, latency, or cost\nRun an incident end to end and written the postmortem\nMentoring experience\nTypeScript, React Native, or LLM API experience\nPayments/fintech or health insurance domain exposure\nExperience with regulated or sensitive data\n\nHow We Work\nHigh ownership, self-driven, fast with tests, and direct and low-ego.
