collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop new heavy duty machinery products.\n\nTake concepts from idea generation through detailed design, prototyping, testing, and validation.\n\nPerform engineering calculations, simulations, and technical analysis to support product development.\n\nManage prototype builds and coordinate field testing activities.\n\nEvaluate new technologies, materials, manufacturing methods, and customer requirements.\n\nSupport patentable innovations and contribute to future product roadmaps.\n\nCreate and maintain engineering drawings, technical documentation, and product specifications.\n\nCollaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and service teams to ensure successful product delivery.\n\nAssist with product performance improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and value engineering projects.\n\nInvestigate field issues and implement effective engineering solutions.\n\nParticipate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement activities.\n\nProvide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, from development through production.\n\nRequirements\nRequirements\nDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n\nMinimum 3 years' post-graduate experience within heavy engineering industries.\n\nExperience developing products from concept through to production.\n\nStrong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering calculations.\n\nCREO experience is a distinct advantage.\n\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary R&D environment.\n\nWhat's on Offer?\nCompetitive
