A movement for better thinking, smarter solutions and lasting impact.\nTogether, we will advance our way of life and protect the integrity of our environment every step of the way.\nA Day in the Life\nAs an Ambient Field Technician, you’ll get hands-on experience collecting data while spending most of their time outdoors in a hard hat rather than in a cubicle.\nThe compensation range for this role is $22 -$25/hr., commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.\nTo thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:\nAssist in preparation, deployment, testing/sampling of air monitoring activities\nIndependently and effectively assemble, operate, and troubleshoot ambient air testing equipment\nEnsure project preparation is complete before going into the field; this includes preparation, cleaning procedures, repair, and calibration\nPractice safety methods and procedures, and report all potential dangers, hazards, or unsafe work practices to the supervisor\nProvide excellent customer service to all clients\nAssist with laboratory, shop, and equipment maintenance\nYour Expertise and Skills\nThese requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.\nAbility to travel up to 20- 50% weekend travel may be required\nAbility to work in industrial settings & outdoors\nHigh School diploma through bachelor's degree\nValid driver's license\nComfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with proven time management and prioritization skills\nAbility to work independently and with minimal supervision\nWorking knowledge of computer software, such as MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements\nThe physical and environmental requirements below reflect what’s typically needed to perform the essential functions of this role safely and effectively.
