A movement for better thinking, smarter solutions and lasting impact.\nTogether, we will advance our way of life and protect the integrity of our environment every step of the way.\nA Day in the Life\nAs an Intermediate Environmental Project Manager in our Edmonton or remote Alberta you’ll be responsible for assisting with multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.\nThe compensation range for this role is $35.00 to $53.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.\nTo thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:\nSupport simple to moderately complex site ARRM projects.\nEnsure internal communication and collaboration to facilitate delivery of high-quality products to meet our clients’ unique project needs. \nManage project scopes, schedules and budgets.\nCoordinate with internal project teams across disciplines, including engineers, hydrogeologists, soil scientists and ecologists.\nCommunicate with clients and project related stakeholders.\nPrepare technical correspondence, proposals, work plans and, cost estimates.\nFunction effectively within and contribute to the success of a collaborative team.\nProactively engage and participate in development opportunities and your career growth.\nMentor and develop junior staff members.\nYour Expertise and Skills\nThese requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.\nTechnical diploma or degree in environmental science, project management or a related field.\nA minimum of three (3) years’ previous project management consulting experience.\nProject management experience in site assessment, reclamation, remediation and monitoring ARRM projects in Alberta, British Columbia or Saskatchewan would be considered an asset Alberta or British Columbia.\nExperience managing client relationships.\nEligibility for registration in or a member in good standing of a professional organization (e.g. AIA, ASET, APEGA) would be considered an asset.\nFamiliarity with preparing technical reports, work plans, and cost estimates and scopes of work.\nWillingness to provide technical direction and mentorship to more junior professionals.\nA valid class 5 driver’s license with no restrictions.\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements\nThe physical and environmental requirements below reflect what’s typically needed to perform the essential functions of this role safely and effectively.
