This role is based out of Joliet, IL and surrounding areas.\nThe compensation range for this role is $28 - $32/hr. commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.\nTo thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:\nDay to day management of field compliance regarding the LDAR program and safety program.\n\nPromote a positive work/team environment\n\nLead weekly safety toolbox talks\n\nManage and maintain use all required PPE, supplies and equipment and assist Field personnel with requirements\n\nManage, perform and review documentation of calibrations/calibration-precision/response time tests/drift checks of monitoring instrument\n\nPreparing field reports as required\n\nYour Expertise and Skills\nThese requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.\nExperience in Oil and Gas industry (preference given to candidates with natural gas processing/transmission facility experience)\n\nIntermediate knowledge in LDAR related hardware and tools\n\nEffective computer skills (Excel and Microsoft Office are essential) and proficiency with Android OS\n\nAbility to work 12-hour shifts (days only)\n\nValid driver's license\n\nPreference will be given to candidates with an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology or applicable technical degree/diploma; related work experience in hydrocarbon detection and measurement, LDAR, instrumentation or stack emission testing or a mechanical background are also preferred\n\nExperience leading a team.\n\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements\nAbility to walk and/or stand while handling/carrying various technical equipment for extended periods of time\n\nComfortable occasionally working at heights in a safe manner\n\nAbility to lift 50lbs unassisted\n\nComfortable working outside in all-weather elements\n\nAbility to climb ladders and stairs\n\nAbility to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check\n\nAbility to pass a fit test for a respirator\n\nStandby and on-call duty may be required, and the individual must be able to respond to the facility within one hour.\n\nOnterris is a leading global environmental solutions company partnering with organizations to solve complex challenges where environmental pressures, regulatory expectations and operational risks intersect.
