A movement for better thinking, smarter solutions and lasting impact.\nTogether, we will advance our way of life and protect the integrity of our environment every step of the way.\nA Day in the Life\nOur air quality team is growing, and we are looking to add a project manager to our collaborative and forward-thinking office culture.\nThe annual compensation range for this role is $110,000 to $125,000 commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.\nTo thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:\nNew source review (“NSR”), non-attainment NSR and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (“PSD”) permitting and Title V permitting.\nRegulatory air dispersion modeling using the United States Environmental Protection Agency (“US EPA”) recommended models (e.g., AERMOD)\nEmission calculations and emissions inventory development\nBest available control technology (“BACT”) assessments\nRegulatory applicability analyses, to include state, local, and federal regulations\nAdditional responsibilities for this role include:\nResponsible for the administrative and project management of a team of consultants.\nQuality control of personal work as well as projects being managed.\nEffective communication with both external and internal customers.\nDevelopment and maintenance of trusting professional relationships with clients.\nPromote integrated air consulting services externally to clients.\n\nYour Expertise and Skills\nWe are looking for new team members who demonstrate technical excellence, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.\nB.S. or above from an accredited college or university in engineering or a related scientific discipline.\nMinimum 5 to 7 years of air quality consulting experience\nExperience as a Project Manager is highly preferred, with a strong emphasis on managing project timelines and budgets and ensuring successful project delivery.\nProficiency with MS Office suite (e.g., Word / Excel /PowerPoint/ Outlook / SharePoint) and time/expense tracking software.\nUnderstanding of software and tools applicable to your project (e.g., AERMOD, SCREEN3, TRI-ME).\nUnderstanding of engineering concepts such as chemical processes and emissions control technologies.\nAdvanced understanding of relevant regulations related to your tasks, projects, and client operations.\nDepth of technical competencies necessary to solve problems and scope new projects accurately and completely.\nBreadth of technical competencies necessary to work with multiple industries and/or multiple clients within a large industry.\nAbility to mentor and train team members.\nAnalytical problem-solving skills.\nEffective time management.\nEffective written and verbal communication.\nProfessionalism necessary to establish and maintain long-term working relationships with clients and co-workers.\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrate organizational skills, and attention to detail.\nExercise safe work practices by following all Onterris and client safety rules and regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs.\nParticipate in the company’s continuous improvement programs and support team efforts.\nThis position can be fast-paced and demanding and will require motivated, flexible individuals to manage and work on multiple projects.\nLess than 25% travel.\n#INDONT\nOnterris is a leading global environmental solutions company partnering with organizations to solve complex challenges where environmental pressures, regulatory expectations and operational risks intersect.
