A movement for better thinking, smarter solutions and lasting impact.\nTogether, we will advance our way of life and protect the integrity of our environment every step of the way.\nA Day in the Life\nAs a Full-Time Project Manager Assistant in our Orange, CA Laboratory, you’ll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.\nThe compensation range for this role is $25 to $34, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.\nSchedule: Wednesday - Sunday\nTo thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:\nAssists with client accounts set up, project implementation, login, storage, and verification of client samples; verifies chains of custody and notifies client of discrepancies\nReviews client protocols and verifies the project account is set up accordingly\nCoordinates with clients and labs for bottle orders, sample delivery schedules, status of data and reports, exceedance notifications to clients, login updates and other project management related tasks\nCreates and puts together field sampling and sample bottle order kits, reviews work order tickets and sends client sample receipt confirmation as well as confirms sampling schedule with clients\nCoordinates with subcontract labs for sample delivery and project status and generates subcontract COCs\nCreates and sends reports to clients including review of data for trends or anomalies, if applicable as well as sends invoices to clients\nWorks directly with project managers, group leaders, and clients\nGeneral administrative project support such as keeping detailed project notes and records or organization and maintenance of project data files (quote, chain of custody, study plan/protocol, lab instructions, etc.)\nManages small and simple project accounts\nMaintains and monitors project plans and schedule (sample pulls, delivery, and available sample inventory)\nAssists with project tracking and interlaboratory communication\nGenerates and submits state reporting forms\nAssists Sample Receiving team with deliveries and drop offs as needed\nAbility to work within the LIMS and create/edit EDDs\nParticipate in client calls and meetings\nOther duties as assigned\nYour Expertise and Skills\nThese requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.\nBS/BA in an analytical science or equivalent experience in analytical/environmental laboratory\nProficient in Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.\nHighly motivated and self-starter\nExcellent verbal and written communication at all levels of the organization\nFlexible schedule including overtime as needed\nAble to multi-task under strict deadlines\nPMA experience is preferred but not required\nPreferred Skills\nKnowledge of analytical methods, data evaluations, and customer services\nAble to work collaboratively to analyze problems, then take charge and implement solutions\nAble to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities (i.e., self-starter, self-motivated)\nAbility to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills\nSolid organization and time/project management skills\nEnglish language competency\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements\nThe physical and environmental requirements below reflect what’s typically needed to perform the essential functions of this role safely and effectively.
