Mission: help users find and access their favorite content in a native and easy way.\n About the role\n We are looking for an exceptional and passionate Android Team Leader to join our top-notch Mobile Development group.\n Our perfect candidate will have the opportunity to help build a large-scale revolutionary platform used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide.\n You will shape both the technical direction and team culture while delivering products that make a real impact.\n Responsibilities\n Leadership & People management\n Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Android developers and QA/AQA engineers\n Conduct 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and career development planning\n Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement\n Facilitate knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the team\n Technical leadership\n Design scalable solutions and evaluate architecture options\n Define technical direction, coding standards, and quality guidelines\n Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed\n Stay up to date with Android ecosystem trends and drive adoption of relevant technologies\n Contribute hands-on to critical features and complex technical challenges\n Product & Delivery\n Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams\n Drive sprint planning, estimation, and delivery commitments\n Track team progress using Agile/Scrum metrics and ensure timely delivery\n Balance technical debt with feature development\n Manage priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment\n Requirements\n Leadership experience\n (Preferred) 2+ years of people management experience in a technical leadership role\n Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams\n Experience leading development teams using Agile/Scrum methodology\n Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing requirements\n Technical expertise\n 5+ years of native Android application development experience\n Expert knowledge of Kotlin and modern Android development practices\n Deep understanding of Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and reactive programming\n Proficiency with MV* patterns (MVVM, MVI), Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles\n Strong understanding of Android internals, app lifecycle, and performance optimization\n Experience with multi-module architecture and dependency injection\n Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.)\n Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing\n Knowledge of build variants, product flavors, and build configuration\n Nice to have\n Experience with system-level apps or privileged APIs\n Background in mobile security, app hardening, or compliance requirements\n Experience with large-scale apps (1M+ users)\n Hybrid note\n This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our Warsaw office (Wednesday to Friday).\n Benefits\n At On The Spot, we’re creating a workplace people would want to stay in: supportive, well-organized, and fair in terms of conditions and benefits.\n We’ll share more about our benefit package during the interviews.
