As a leading turnkey service provider in the technology infrastructure space, the Company serves industries such as communications, wireless and wireline, fiber design and deployment, sustainable energies, utilities, oil & gas, and security and defense.\nSummary\nThe Scoping Specialist will act as a key interface with the site acquisition team, construction and project teams, supply chain, and general contractors to define the Scope of Work (SOW) based on RFDSs, CDs, and other provided data for various company projects. \nThis is a safety-sensitive position.\nKey Responsibilities\nUphold the company’s core value of safety across all operations.\nDefine the Scope of Work (SOW) based on RFDSs, CDs, and other provided data for company projects.\nBe the key interface between the site acquisition team, construction and project teams, supply chain, and general contractors to complete company projects.\nWork with procurement to create the Bill of Materials (BOM) per the SOW.\nWork with the construction team to understand site-specific characteristics and schedule requirements for build plans.\nAnalyze drawings, site surveys, photos, RF information, schedules, etc., to determine materials and services needed to construct a site as specified by the customer.\nDevelop Scoping and other appropriate documentation based on customer-provided RF DSs and Construction drawings when requested.\nDevelop and submit detailed quotes associated with SOWs and review the scope and quote for accuracy and timeliness.\nExecute any change of scope throughout the life of a project, including true-up requirements for scoped services and materials.\nApply industry knowledge and experience to resolve issues as needed.\nRepresent the company and participate in planning and status meetings as needed.\nInterpret and explain plans to administrative staff, crew, etc.\nEnsure the highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld.\nMust continue to work towards training and certifications for work-related jobs.\nOther duties as assigned.\nPhysical Demands\nMust be in good physical condition with the ability to routinely bend, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, lift 30lbs or more, lift in awkward positions, stand, and twist for extended periods. \nMay be required to work long and unpredictable hours.\nMust be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes DOT physical, background check, and drug/alcohol testing and participate in the random testing program.\nMust be willing to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTechnical Skills:\nMust be able to work in a team environment and be a valued member of the crew and the company.\nMust have knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards. \nMust have knowledge of wireless technology and telecommunications, with emphasis on site design, including acquisition, construction, RF, cabinet builds, and power.\nMust understand how to build a site from a construction and pricing perspective with industry-standard materials, and have a good understanding of engineering concepts.\nWorking knowledge of UMTS, GSM, LTE, 5G, and Small Cell.\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office products and have advanced computer skills.\nSoft Skills: \nMust be able to communicate at a high level in person, by phone, and by email with team members and clients. \nMust be able to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.\nMust be self-motivated with the desire to learn new things and project a positive attitude toward others in all work-related settings.\nMust be able to work on a team and independently as required.\nSupervisory Requirements\nNo supervisory requirements\nPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 5:00 pm with overtime requirements or as directed by leadership. The work schedule is subject to change depending on market conditions which may require overtime, night work and/or weekend work.\nTravel\nDepending on market location and/or conditions, travel is required 0-25% of the time.
