This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and repair of precision cooling systems, including Vertiv CRAC and CRAH units, supporting some of the region's most demanding data center operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical HVAC equipment.\nPerform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostic and repairs \nRead and apply advanced electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and sequence-of-operations documents.\nLead equipment replacements, upgrades, and retrofit projects.\nComplete service reports, maintenance documentation, and customer communications.\nWork safely in active data center and mission-critical environments.\nLead and mentor HVAC technicians and support field quality, and technical escalation.\nParticipate in on-call rotation and emergency response activities as required.\nTravel to customer sites\nOther duties as assigned.\nPhysical Demands\nThis job operates in a field environment. Must be in good physical condition with the ability to routinely bend, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, lift 50lbs or more, lift in awkward positions, stand, and twist for extended periods. \nMust be willing to travel out of the market/state for up to two weeks at a time. \nMay be required to work long and unpredictable hours.\nMust be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background, drug testing, and DOT physical.\nMust be willing to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.\nMust have a valid driver’s license with no major infractions and be able to drive company vehicles. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong understanding of refrigeration circuits, electrical systems, and HVAC controls.\nAdvanced commercial HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic capability\nAbility to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, control diagrams, and sequences of operation.\nAbility to lead technicians, coordinate field work, and communicate repair recommendations to customers.\nExperience with Vertiv, Liebert, Stulz, or other data center cooling equipment preferred.\nFamiliarity with BAS, PLC, or unit control systems preferred.\nExperience with chilled-water, DX, and economizer systems preferred.\nSoft Skills: \nMust be able to communicate in person, by phone, and by email with team members and clients. \nMust be able to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.\nMust be able to work on a team and independently as required.\nSupervisory Requirements\nThis position will provide direct field leadership, technical guidance, and work direction to HVAC technicians.\nPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 5:00 pm with overtime requirements or as directed by leadership. The work schedule is subject to change depending on market conditions which may require overtime, night work and/or weekend work.\nTravel\nDepending on market location and/or conditions, travel may be required. Travel requirements are subject to change.\nRequired Education and Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nAt least 6 years of HVAC service experience.\nTrade Specific or Greater Electrical License \nEPA Universal Certification.\nExperience troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment.\nValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.\n2+ OEM certifications \nStrong communication and customer service skills.\nJourneyman HVAC license, where applicable, preferred.\nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.\nExperience in data centers, telecommunications, healthcare, or other critical facilities preferred.\n\nBenefits\nThe Company offers a comprehensive benefits package that is designed to enhance all aspects of our employees’ well-being.
